Won't have heard of him because he didn't do anything in those 21 games ?

Played 8 in the championship for Charlton and scored thrice

If you’re on Facebook then the Match of the Day page runs the story that he’s signed for us...don’t read the comments though

Worst player ever for arsenal

Surprised how little he can jump

Stealing a living

Sonogoals

But he has won more trophies than Harry Kane

Have you heard any rumours about him, Wakey?

Ah, just seen it on Town Square.

And Twitter!

Good to see our policy of bringing them in young and selling them on a for a few quid is still working out well - huh? Huh

Will he be the next Town player to miss a penalty?

Have we enough forwards yet to revert to the good old 2-3-5 formation of yore that I'm sure is still the reference point for calling players positions (other than wing-backs)?

We don't really need a penalty taker. We don't get awarded enough. And do you really want to spoil our record of 100% failure?

Yes I do ....... goal difference can be worth another point when your arse is hovering over the trap door.

Just goes to show PH was talking out of his arse when he said we had 5 strikers, we've bought another 2 since then

Tbf when he said it, his 5 strikers included Koroma, harratt and ward all of whom have been injured for prolonged periods.

He should just have kept his mouth shut about that. He's got to learn there's things you can say and things you can't say. Like the strikers bit, like the top 6 squad bit. All it is is a slight wording change and he doesn't get pulled up on things.

Instead of 'we have 5 strikers' say we have different options from the b team if needed, it's non committal. Instead of 'we have a top 6 squad' say we have a squad that is more than capable of competing. Which it is/was when everyone was fit if we are being fair.

There was an article on the athletic where he said to the players that he has/had asperations of playing in Europe. You don't say that, because as the player who was quoted (unnamed) the funding never came after that, you say that to the players and the players expect, rightly, money spent on squad improvements. If you go with the old wagner motto, no limits, we have no ceiling, youre making no promises on anything and you ain't weighing them down with expectations either.

He's made way way way too many throw away comments in his short time here and like I said, simple wording changes and those comments become harmless and fans would equally just allow it and get on with their days. Hoyle was a master of it
