Sawyers will get the blame because he is shit week in week out!!!
Watch the game and see how many mistakes he makes every single game without contributing anything positive.
Granted he's not the only poor excuse of a footballer at our club, but he is at the top of the pile of crap.

Didn’t read any negative comments after the City & Liverpool matches. Sawyers hasn’t been great this season but I’ve watched almost every game and there have been few successes. Easy target and it’s funny how supporters pick on ‘their own’.
The players at the club are Bilic players but I’d much rather have had him managing the club (and getting relegated) than Fat Sam.

I won’t feel the least bit sorry for Allardyce and I doubt very much he’ll care that much anyway.

The problem is, it was Bilic who accumulated this side that lacks character, leaders and balls!

It was a Leeds performance that was very similar to their 3-0 win at Villa earlier on in the season. That game could've been 6 or 7 has Villa not rode their luck.

Power, pace, everyone piling forward, options. They blew us away the same as they did Villa.

Against Leeds you have to weather that early storm when they come out all guns blazing and then take advantage when they get tired later in the game. Not only did we fail to weather the storm, we gifted Leeds their opening goal with the terrible individual error and from then on it was curtains. We didn't know if we should stick or twist and they simply took us apart. But to be fair to Leeds, they did score some really good goals where as we couldn't even score when their goalkeeper passed it to Grady and he was clean through.

The reality is, our squad has little (if any) Premier League quality. Dowling and Bilic spent far too much time signing wingers and attacking players and neglected the spine of the team. I can't believe people are already slagging off Allardyce and praising Bilic when Bilic was the one who failed to identify we needed better full backs and legs in the middle of the park. I mean is it Allardyce's fault that we spent probably £40m in the summer on Pereira, Robinson, Grady and Grant and 3 of the 4 were operating at left wing last season?

What I would say is that I did expect Allardyce to hit the ground running more than he has. In his defence, I suppose he couldn't really change the team after the Man City and Liverpool games so only after this defeat will we really see what he truly believes is the best side. IMO we clearly need to be far more 'industrial' than what we are now to win some points. Essentially, we need to add Kipre and Ivanovic into the mix and move Ajayi and O'Shea into midfield and full back respectively. We need to be far more stubborn and make more of set plays. And I don't apologise for saying so because we haven't looked capable of scoring from open play all season. We simply don't have the quality or legs to get us up the pitch or create.

Just hope they have a couple of players already signed up to come in on Friday as well.

But at least the same players were not leaking an average of 3 goals a game under him. Lets also not forget that Leeds spent over £100 million on players, I am not saying we should have but at the end of the day as a general rule, you get what you pay for.

I fully agree that these are Bilic’s signings, although we were all delighted when he signed Pereira and Diangana permanently, which used up a substantial chunk of his available budget. Grant has been a huge disappointment but, in all honesty, you get bugger all for £14 million if you’re wanting a Premiership level striker. Who else could he have signed that would score goals in this league? With the budget he was given, I understand why he turned to those players he felt he could trust and knew.
Allardyce was allegedly going to put some structure into the team that apparently hadn’t got any under Bilic and some organisation into the defence. He would also not make the same baffling substitutions that Bilic made. This was Allardyce’s first big test under those criteria (he couldn’t influence the Villa result and Liverpool was a freak in the way City was for Bilic); Leeds are a good team but they concede aplenty. Allardyce completely failed this test. That performance would have embarrassed a non league team playing Leeds in the FA Cup 3rd round. I await with interest reading his post match comments

Some of our players have let themselves the club and us fans down for the last time.
It's time to draw a line under this type of performance.
Bilic gave them game after game and they got him the sack.
Now big Sam is in the same situation, he has to get rid. If we lose we lose, but the white flag cannot be waved anymore.
Gibbs - Livermore - Sawyers - Phillips should be disposed of. They have taken the pi55 over and over again.
I don't want to see them play again, they are a disgrace. We don't need or want them at the club any more.
Thank you and goodbye.
Who do we play I here you ask!!! - anyone bar them I say, play the kids. Anyone who doesn't just give up.
If Sam picks them again he can go as well, the time for change is now.

I suppose if you're Chinese, Allardyce rhymes with Paradise. Maybe that's what Lai thought he was getting.
Paradise lost now.

As poor as West Brom were, good to see Leeds getting some credit in all this. Our team always gets slaughtered after a performance like this (and rightly so) but some forget how well the opposition played. Personally, I think Leeds are a decent side that are good to watch, although the Baggies probably made them look like Champions League quality tonight.
I also get your point regarding Ajayi & O’Shea into midfield but imagine the uproar of another poor show with 2 defenders in central midfield. It would be carnage.

I think putting Ivanovic into the defence in place of either O’Shea or Ajayi would be a disaster. The guy is appalling- he has the speed of a snail and the turning circle of an oil tanker. As poor as tonight was, I would stick with our current central defenders (I use the word in its widest sense) although I understand the idea of Ajayi in midfield. We need a younger Ivanovic (about ten years younger) to play alongside O’Shea if we move Ajayi
