I was critical of Slav's 'love in' with Sawyers and Grant, yet seems like Alladyce has the same feelings!!!!
Still nice to see he has gone for a modern forward thinking 4 4 2 formation.
Please please please make me out to be an idiot and put in a performance. I would take a beating as long as we try.

Not really the selection I was expecting or wanting.
I thought and hoped Sam might select a bit more of an 'industrial' XI. Harder to beat with a set piece threat. But it's actually pretty much a Bilic team with the exception of Pereira's omission.
Got a feeling they will run through our midfield like a hot knife through butter. I can only cross my fingers that nobody in a Pool shirt performs today.

An hour into the game and we're only 1-0 down. Maybe my expectations are lower than everyone else's, but that's far from the worst position we could be in right now. Obviously if they smash six past us in the next half-hour then I'll adjust my views accordingly.
