I think while Ron said he was happy that she was there I got the impression that he maybe had other plans in that department which I'm sure we will see soon, I'm sure Leanns got an offer from somewhere, Rod and the SFA? The Rangers? Who knows, but we will no doubt find out.

I'll be very, very disappointed if she goes to these sectarian bigots esp after all the poisonous shit that these Govan Huns subjected her (and other Hibs officials) to after Hibs historic 3-2 Scot Cup final win of 2016 v Rangers, the most dramatic cup final win of this 21st century. Her last comment was, "I look forward to the next new challenge"! I hope it is not with these poisonous bastards Leeann because that would definitely be a "slap in the face" to thousands of Hibs fans who respect and regard your role in HFC very highly!
Re her sudden exit from HFC, I suspect that Ron Gordon must have been scrutinising the high remuneration that was being paid out for this particular executive role during this long pandemic period and the words "value for money" would be "entering his head". It is just a thought but I reckon it is prob an accurate one as no crowds/attendances will prevail until possibly Spring next year or later and money is "tight".

Good luck to her, I cant say I have many complaints about her tenure.
Looks like we want to make some changes to what we do as a club commercially though and like 0762 says he thinks we are not getting 'bang for our buck' from that area. Im pretty sure Ron knows what he's doing, his son going in means he is taking a 'hands on' role here and I expect we will see some positive results after we get through this rough covid patch - which is likely to last til the end of the season.

Sad news but I wish Leeann all the best in her next position.
She came in when we were at a low point, grabbed the club bu the scruff of its neck and elevated us to where we are today.
Hope her future employer is worthy of her talents.

Also remember we won the Holy Grail under her CE tenure and, in "one fell swoop" in 2016, dispelled all the shit that we endured down the years from our rivals across the city, rivals who are now playing in a lower league position.
I notice Leeann is going out with "all guns blazing" in a criticism of the SPFL who have sided with Celtic's request to change the date of Hibs away fixture in January 2021 to accommodate Celtic's sudden arrangement to travel to their winter training camp. Didn't suit Hibs position says Leeann but the SPFL applying their default rule in backing the home footie club but saying nothing to her or HFC - rightly "fizzing"!!

Rumour she's been offered the CEO role at Queens Park. They're being funded by Willie Haughey

She also wants / needs to be near Glasgow for family illness reasons. I think she saw the time is right to leave Hibs with the new regime taking over with their own business ideas. Queens Park are certainly looking like a forward thinking club and wish to get somewhere with this extra money that is coming their way , so if it does come off, she sees it as an attractive challenge.
Whatever she does, good luck to her.
