Nothing particularly new here, Lei has been reported as looking for new investment for months. As for the source of this .....

Bigger question is who on earth would buy a club that’s probably going to be relegated, in the middle of a pandemic, for a price that would presumably have to be close to the £200m Lai paid? Would have to be someone with more money than sense, which might be good news I guess...

Oh I bloody hope so!

I have genuinely given up on this season and in football in general. The Premier League is totally unbalanced due to money and only a miracle allows a club for a short period of time to compete without lunatic levels of money.

Add to that the changes in football rules have made the whole thing a farce. Handball is a mystery and the penalty lottery drives me mad.

You have to invest emotionally into football and clarity of rules and consistency of decision making allows that to happen.

But when you have no idea when to cheer or cry and things keep conflicting eg Man Utd v West Brom handball penalty and Arsenal v Leeds no handball penalty, you just can’t carry on.

I have seriously just given up. New ownership and the Championship is when I wake again.

Yeah.
This VAR thing is just showing what incompetent fools we have in charge of football.
As has been mentioned, cricket does it pretty successfully, and rugby union even more so, in my opinion.
What's so friggin' difficult??!

Talk about making something more complex than it is!

West Brom hold talks with American consortium over possible takeover. Bid turned down earlier this year and at this stage the £150m asking price is an issue. Talks remain open #wba https://t.co/ypEQKA6gEP
