When we arranged my step father's funeral back in 2017 my eldest daughter and I chose as the closing piece a song that he often sang in the month's just before he died.
I can't remember the name of the artist but from the 50's 'Cigareetes and whisky and wild wild women. Don't think the pastor was too amused.
As for myself I would chose between two:- Knights in white satin (Moodies) or The Parting Glass sung be Celtic Woman.
Hopefully neither of them will be needed in the foreseeable future.
