Well this is not an easy fixture for Hibs to take on after the disappointment of that Scot Cup semi-final. However, I gather that the Dons are down on 3-4 players, all injured. Lets hope the Hibs can take advantage of this position and try to overcome what I perceive to be a "bogey" for Hibs v them in league matches. There is no time for the players feeling sorry for themselves and the perfect remedy is to win this match. In order to do that lets start converting the scoring opps when they are created and stop squandering them. C'mon Hibs! Lets push on and add another good away result to a vg away record so far this season plus we can "pull away" from the Dons' 4th place spot in the Scot Prem.

Almost 7 hours to go before tonight's KO at Pittodrie and IMO this is another "big match" for Jack Ross to try and win, a potential "six pointer" at this stage of the season. Many Hibs fans critically opine that Ross doesn't win enough big matches and has not done that since arriving at ER Stadium. We'll see if that will change tonight.

Absolute clowncar defending there - 1 nil sheep.
2-0 now.
Sunday league defending again. If we dont get a grip here this could end up a real pasting.

Briefly - wrong formation, no passion and no motivation particularly in the 1st half. "Two up top" v AFC and with a knowledge of our dreadful league record against them, my No1 bogey team that covers well over a decade, was wrong and naive. Fielding Murphy was also wrong IMO and he flogged the 1st goal inside four mins!! I regard Murphy as unimpressive and not match fit and Ross must "carry the can" on this result. I expected it tonight as I'm a knowledgeable Hibs fan when it comes to playing matches v this particular footie club. IMO Ross was totally naive and didn't even lift this team enough before setting foot on the pitch. Also I can't be the only Hibs fan to notice that there is a lack of mid creativity since we disappointingly lost the servs of Scott Allan, an option that was always useful as an alternative. Another observation is that Boyly has hardly played an impressive performance since he extended his contract with HFC!! Anyway, it looks like other results have favoured us but again Jack Ross not winning "big matches"! Still, it doesn't dampen my spirits particularly on a night when I'm sipping some wine to celebrate the demise of a lunatic called Donald Trump!! A small bright light suddenly shines through the darkness of populism and the spectre of a pandemic that is not going away!

We had loads of the ball after the farcical goals (what the xxxx was Murphy playing at ?) but we looked lost for most of the game. We couldn't handle the physicality again, the midfield is way too lightweight and uncreative. We seemed very low on numbers in there while the sheep had mccrorie and Ferguson backed up by tough players like McLennan and wright. Our passing was poor as well. Boyle has been a shadow of the player he's capable of this season.
We just about managed a shot on target, the team didn't look up for it particularly. With the pk shouts nobody bothered their arse on or off the pitch about it.
Ross needs to have a rethink over the break, it's not working out with those players in that set up.

I look at they're midfeild and I look at our powderpuff one, surely Jack Ross can't be happy with these midfeild players at his disposal, a playmaker like Scott Allan is clearly missing and must be signed in January if we're serious of winning any big games this season, the bigger teams have far stronger bullying midfeilds with a bit of creation that we are badly lacking

That was a big game last night and we blew it after 15 mins bounce.
Us not turning up for the big games is undeniable now.
