Two in a minute for us the not watching games ploy seems to be working

We've hit the self destruct button.

Great football match. Shame we had to self destruct just after half time to make it interesting though. We still kept going though, pushing forward. But too many times getting caught on the break, which ended up with Nobby getting sent off.
Ah well, you can't win 'em all.

Back to mid-table mediocrity - oh how we used to wish for mid-table mediocrity.

Somebody on Twitter just pointed out. The three games we've lost, the opponents should've had a man sent off.
True!

Obviously being brought up on 1970s football, none of them were red cards but, when you look at the ridiculous red cards we pick up, they definitely were.
The Brentford one was a wild lunge on Bacuna in the first half.

I can't remember the Brentford one.

At first I thought today's could have been tight, but the ref took his time and got the right decision. Sarr also was a red card, the only other player up there was in green, so we might see a back 3 of Stears, schinds and Crichlow, which might be a good thing on Wednesday.

Bacca was infuriating, but he also seems like he could be the one to create something out of nothing, however, could pritch do the same? Probably. Would a goal change how the likes of pritch, dia and mbenza do, definitely.

I'm still in the group that thinks mbenzas done alright so far, not spectacular, but alright. Definitely not 11mil worth, but had we spent 1-2mil or less, I think so far we as fans would be just meh about it. One thing I would say is hes definitely integrated with the squad now, although his best mate Bacca should have slid him through possibly just after we scored and we'd have had chance to be 2 up, but he took too long and saw a shot blocked. Fine margins I suppose.

I think today or yesterday to be exact, we got bullied and weren't quite at the races, but I still saw glimpses to put in the positive column moving forward

So that was Preston's first win at the John McAlpharm Stadium. Their first win in Huddersfield since 1992 when Eoin Hand was boss. We made it to the Play Offs that season.
