I don't think this season is going to fit the usual with the way teams are taking points from all over the place. It is quite possible if things continue as they are at present the points needed could be more like 50 than 40. The big boys are not taking the points they usually do which means those points are spread around more. That could just mean that this season is just more defined between the top half and bottom half of the league in terms of points. It could also mean that the league is a lot closer with the bottom 6 fairing very badly in relation to the rest. A long way to go yet so we shall see.

Interesting, Salop, but if we need 50 points then I think we're stuffed already.
I can't remember what it feels like to win, and I honestly can't see that experience coming along again any time soon. Hope I'm wrong.
