Sounds quite promising so far
For once a good team selection

I think this will be a better game in the Championship next season, at least the sides will be able to take the hand brake off.
Seriously, really poor quality game. As bad as I've seen this season. On the plus side, Ivanovic and Gallaher are looking good. Particularly Ivanovic, who is winning everything in the air. But going forward we are just so pedestrian... Don't see the point in Krovinovic who never goes forward. He's so laboured on the ball. Keeps turning attack into defence. Sick of Pereira keep floating all of our free kicks into Pope's arms. Grady not at the races. Would prefer Sawyers to Krov, at least he can see and weight a pass. Or better yet, Ajayi, who has some legs on him and adds an aerial presence in both boxes. We need to step it up. At the moment, it looks like 2 teams playing with fear waiting for the inevitable relegation.

A bit of a turgid affair. Burnley came to block but still dangerous in the air. Ivan looked solid and Conor G was very good. Grant not really in the game.

sad not to get a win - but a glimmer of hope, especially for when we are in the Championship next season

Complete and utter tripe.
Lucky to get away with a point and let's face it, we'll not get an easier game than that all season. I want to see some positives, but it's difficult when the negatives far outweigh them. For me, we need to be taking a serious look at Bilic's position. He just seems totally clueless. Everything that was wrong with the first half just continued in the 2nd. What I have just watched was effectively Pulisball minus the chance of ever scoring from a set play seeing as every corner or free kick was floated into Pope's arms. Are the players not smart enough to see after the first 1,2,3,4,5 floaters he collects that it's food and drink for him? No support for the striker... no runners into the box... no desire to move the ball forward... No plan B! Struggling to see where the next point is coming from frankly.

Not the best that's for sure. Both defences and goalies on top, midfields cancelled each other out and our 'strikers' never looked a threat.
Couldn't disagree more about Sawyers in for Krovinovich. Sawyers only contribution when he came on was to give the ball away, pretty much what he's been doing since the middle of last season. I do agree about Ajayi though, definitely got the potential to be a box to box player.

Sawyers was shocking when he came on. I wanted him to come on, because Krovi was awful. But Sawyers managed to be even worse. I like Sawyers because he's a ball player and I enjoy watching that, but I'm afraid even I've lost faith now. He simply doesn't have the heart to play at this level. I mean if you can sit and watch that tripe for 75 minutes and still come on and be so lackadaisical, there's something seriously wrong. Bilic has to see that his 'luxury' players don't have the quality to cut teams apart at this level and he needs a plan B. He needs to at the very least consider Ajayi in midfield to add a bit more in both boxes aerially as well. If an Allardyce or someone came in, which I think we need, that would be the first thing they would do.

Sam played well and saved us on more than one occasion. We kept a clean sheet and Ivanovic and Gallagher looked our best players tonight. It's another point, more questions then answers for us. Bilic has a lot more work to do. We are still struggling to be more decisive going forward. We need options, rather the same again approach.
2020 the year the bubble burst
