HTFC Summer transfer window 2020
Sky Sports saying a deal of £15m for grant to West Brom has been agreed. So. Will that money be spent on a new striker?

Rolando Aarons, another winger is on the radar. He's at Newcastle, is injury prone and spent last season on loan at Wycombe and Motherwell.
Sounds right up our street.

Absolutely perfect find by our recruitment guru's and professors of Football Manager and what-ever version of EA Sports FIFA 2020(?) they are using if that's the case. (Probably a much used and abused copy of 2015 from the town centre library that they haven't taken back yet).

We wait to see if it's the same £15m deal we've turned down two or three times already just so we can get the sulky so & so off our books.

They say he's got a six year deal. I wonder if he'll want to move again when the Baggies get relegated.

And finally, the most over rated player to pull on the famous bright blue n white has signed a permanent deal with Fulham.
Monaco had our pants down big style with that one. He's magic you know. Yes he was. He made seventeen million quid disappear.

I don't want to talk about this transfer window. We made promising moves in signing pipa and eiting and shit ourselves in the foot.

Then sell grant for 2.5mil not 25, 2.5, which we get every year for 6 years, come on really? We've been bullied by wba, grant and his agent into taking some bullshit deal and arguably the same with kongolo.

Not only that, but we failed to sign a striker, let alone a front line player to take grants place or at least take a % of the goals he scored last season.

We got peddled a lot of bs last season in summer by Phil about it taking 3 windows. Then he said last season we had a top 6 squad, which ultimately finished bottom 6. Now we've lost a large part of that 'top' 6 squad, not done much in adding, what are we expecting? By we I mean the club, the fans and the owner.

If the owner ever got the courage to front up to the fans, he'd hide behind the pandemic and to an extent its true, but, has the pandemic stopped the club getting a shirt sponsor? No, in fact we turned down offers because they didn't meet our valuation, some money is better than no money, especially if you're hiding behind the pandemic. But how come this pandemic has made us ship players off left right and centre, sign no one, whilst teams like forest sign 13/14 new players and other teams in the champ are spending money, are we so deep in the shit? If so, some serious questions need asking into how the club is being run and how it was sold, because its starting to reek of fraudulent dealings. Promises were made and broken. Money has mysteriously vanished, not a few thousand, but millions, me and a friend worked out that there's circa 30 million vanished, and that's us working on the parachutes paying Dean his debt off. Which raises the question of if Phil could only afford the club via those means, Dean will have known and has already said he sought Phil out. Why? Why, when there was richer people than hoyle interested in buying the club, did hoyle go for someone that couldn't afford it on his own and instead relied on the clubs money to but the club, its literally eating your own hand to feed yourself. Like I said some serious questions need to be asked because something or someone(s) stinking our club out.

Because Dean knew he’d get his money back if he sold to Phil.

I feel sorry for CC, this team was crying out for 2 or 3 championship ready players. They didn’t have to cost a fortune but just be good enough to play at this level and help the younger less experienced players along. PH has let the the management, the younger players and the fans down by not investing in the team.
We can’t be skint, for a kick off the wage bill must have tumbled with all the outgoings
Then we’ve transfer fees, yes they are structured over the contract length but consider the following have all gone for a fee
Grant £15million
Kongolo £4million
Hadergjonaj
Mounié
Sobhi

We also Could afford to sack the management and half the back room staff in the middle of the pandemic
We’ve turned down shirt sponsors because they don’t meet our valuation.

We can not be skint, just either lack ambition or incredibly naive

By the way the squad was weak before the season started and now we are another 3 players light just when we enter the part of the season where we play 2 games a week for near on the rest of the season
