Nottingham Forest's Kelvin Wilson has a late check on an illness so Jack Hobbs, recently restored from an ankle injury, stands by for a starting spot.
Full-back Todd Kane is in the squad as he starts a loan spell from Chelsea but Henri Lansbury is suspended.
Sheffield Wednesday's loan signing from Chelsea, Lewis Baker, is hoping to make his debut and is in the matchday squad.
Boss Stuart Gray has no other injury or suspension problems, but Kamil Zayatte is on national team duty with Guinea.
