Celtic v Hibs, Sun 27 Sept, KO 3.00pm

Hibs take on Celtic after the Hoops return from another demanding away Euro quali tie in Latvia and IMO this could be a good time to play them - we shall see! I wanna see Jack Ross deploying a solid mid-defensive line again but favouring a decent hi-press attacking strategy on Celtic's defence as I don't think they have been too impressive in recent times. Also lets "test out tired legs" in this match. Push on to the likes of Broony in the mid area as I perceive that he is not performing as well as in previous seasons. C'mon Hibs - lets try to make a game of it and win this match! It is a "top of the table" clash and why not try to catch up with them at this early stage of the season.

Sellick haven't really got going yet this season but when they click they are a far better side than sevco. They have pace and quality all over the park and 3 giants at the back. Its going to be hard, and we will need to be at our best to take something, but they are vulnerable down the left side and Boyle can cause them trouble.

All the bitter huns whining we never turn up against them are barking up the wrong tree, we have a better record v Celtic than we do v them since we came back up.

Just watching Bobby Madden turn down 2 blatant penalties for Motherwell Laugh Laugh

And these vermin have the cheek to moan about referees.

No changes to the team for today's game.

1-0 Celtic on 7 mins - the dreaded early goal has been conceded!!! A 30 yard strike by Magregor - a great "arrowed" strike but could Rocky have done a wee bit better?
2-0 on 35 mins! Game over - crap!! Jack Ross played 3 at the back and IMO that was a bad move "from the off"!! Thumb down

Scoreline is very harsh - we have played well and caused them real problems on the break.

Doig has been roasted by frimpong though, he's an absolute speed merchant. I'd go 4-4-2 2nd half get Lewis on and try and get a bit tighter on brown.

Caught on the counter there from where Nesbit nearly scored. 3-0 . Turnbull has had a very good game, he's the kind of hard working, creative midfielder I'd like to see in our side.

My one big criticism of Hibs today is they had no resolve and serious commitment to score v Celtic in the "final third" - cream puff IMO and no real drive to really attack a baw in their pen box and say "this baw is mine" - BANG - goal scored!! Failed miserably in that respect and esp with the few attacking moves that were dangerous.

1st half performance was good, 2nd half not so hot. Ironically we were just starting to get on top again when they hit the 3rd. Newell and Nesbit need to work on their shooting before our next game.

In the end some bits of slack play cost us at key moments, need to get back to winning ways v Hamilton. A side that have been known to be a pain in the arse for us.

I must say I was astonished at the reticence of the M'well manager in his post match interview - a crap response on a day when I was also reading of Marc McNulty's arrest on suspicion of poss match-fixing while playing for Hibs last season - BOBBY MADDEN PLEASE NOTE!!!! I hope that an SFA ref observer was sitting in the Motherwell main stand because that form of decision-making today definitely borders on an element of match-fixing/bias as well and should be followed up with a discreet internal SFA enquiry bordering on at least not allowing this particular official to be officiating Rangers matches and possibly even Celtic matches as well!!

'lodge' Mclean,Dallas Jr,Brother Madden, Cheatin Beaton.......the list of pro-hun officials on and off the park in Scotland is pretty long.

The game has been bent for decades institutionally, never mind the players. Look at those 'incorrectly registered' rangers signings.
