Looks about right to me. 1978 - I was 26 - just ending my failed career with a slipped disc.

I have been trying to find one of the late 60's long sleeved with white cuffs and neckband shirts in blue for years. Saw a guy wearing one at a match last season complete with the old CFC badge. I asked him where he got it and he said online but I cant see one anywhere. Its a bit of memory lane trip for me so if anybody sees one I would appreciate some info.

I'm surprised the club haven't looked into producing replica retro shirts with the old badges because I think a lot of fans would be interested in purchasing them.

That's the one Matt, from 66 onwards then they added the badge. Looked everywhere online but cant find one anywhere. Think its the same shirt as Everton about the same time but I don't fancy EFC on my chest. Mind you, after last night ........

You could try asking Toffs if they could make a custom one for you.

Toffs have a Birmingham City shirt from the same era but its got their badge on it. The shirt is identical. They don't have the artwork for the original CFC badge tho.

The club have teamed up with a company in Switzerland called 'World Retro' to produce 2 shirts.

The 1892-93 shirt which has the union Jack on the front of it and the other is the 1984-85 Championship winning shirt.

The 1892 one is well smart. Looks like mid-90s Britpop fashion. A century ahead of its time!
