EU Referendum
You see Matt education goes on long after school. You were probably right not to go to uni and sign up for a life of debt. We'll just educate ourselves.

Anyway I do hope Dancing noticed his beloved EU ripping itself apart to come up with the pathetic sum of £650 billion to alleviate the effects of Coronavirus across its 27 states. Divide 650 by 27 and it doesn't even get you an HS2, especially when Italy and Spain have grabbed first dibs.

Just a banker's club, good at blocking trade and trading as a bloc? Answers on one side of the paper only (in blue).

Just an ole fella messin'!

Meanwhile in the real world, Comrade Boris tries his hand at keeping the union together. Scotland show him what else you can do with 2 fingers other than use it to measure whisky.
Let's build a bridge to NI (again) then we can keep our promise of no customs posts in Belfast, we can put it in the middle of the bridge.
At least the EU have come up with new money as opposed to re announcing the pre covid pledges and pretending it's extra dosh.
By the time we have finished spending billions on brekshit there will be no money left for HS2.

I had the opportunity 8 years ago but turned it down because I didn't think £9k a year for the courses that I applied for were worth it. I know a lot of people who went to university and did what I call 'Mickey Mouse' courses and they are in a lot of debt, plus a lot of them are what I call followers and not free thinkers. I think you can learn a lot from just reading.

As for the EU they will come to some sort of agreement as they did twice before when they needed help with bail outs.

Boris is quite funny, but the theory that the market will provide as usual collapsed once it faced with a problem. And Boris has no interest in detail. So we copied command economies. In spite of all the lies we've spent more to less effect than most of the EEC. If you've spent ten years xxxxing a country up you have to do something when circumstance is going to find you out. Westminster is a waste of airspace - of roughly the same value to mankind as Brussels and Strasbourg - with the same kind of people and class in charge. The EU is a knot of bankers who wield power and some nice white liberals who acquiesce for the sake of a quiet life. In or out of it makes little difference.

As for Matt, Uni can be a great experience, life-enriching and a gateway to an exciting future. But life ain't all Eton, Baliol and the Foreign Office. For many people uni can be time and effort wasted. Tutor contact can be minimal and the work repetitive and second rate. At best students grow into new people whose outlook has been changed forever, at its worst education will become door closing behind you that you never want to re-open.

Seems everything the remainers said would happen is coming true and cant think of a single thing the leave brigade said that has been correct.

It was all shot down as scaremongering but Northern Ireland is being kicked out of the UK, Kent is being reclassified as a lorry park, the government have ordered drug supply chains to preorder a minimum of 6 weeks supply for emergency stock for January, Brexit has already cost more than our EU contribution for the next 10 years would have done so no extra money for the NHS, the ongoing cost of customs and controls on top of that will exceed our EU contributions, immigration will probably increase by over a million as a result of the Hong Kong situation and 2.5 million people being offered British passports, JCB who fought for Brexit have announced a new plant in ........Germany!!!!! Dyson who also fought for Brexit has shipped his offices and most of his manufacturing abroad and we are left with a load of shysters running or should I say ruining our economy or whats left of it.
We even this week had that prick Ian Duncan Smith telling us the oven ready deal he voted for and wanted to rush through parliament before it could be debated properly is in fact, wait for it, ........a crap deal that's going to cost the country a fortune in payments to the EU in years to come and needs to be scrapped.
You just couldn't make it all up. It just gets better and better.

The EU and our contribution must be the biggest irrelevance since Sandi Toksvig left Bake Off.

Capitalist economies worldwide are crumbling, they can't cope with a crisis in which mostly the old and already sick die. They close themselves down as if they were part of Command Economies and when the time comes to re-open, they've gone, they've sacked their employees, they've invested in cheaper labour abroad. Our High Streets are emptying, our manufacturing has ground to a halt, we are building a railway line to nowhere that no-one will use because there is no business for which they need to travel and most of the stations are an hour out of city centres anyway.

Kent ain't a lorry park, a desert maybe. Northern Ireland, well the whole clue is in the second word - it should be another country. Scotland could be too, but if they have to give us the money back plus interest that we bought it for, at current rates they'll be fucked before they start. As for Hong Kong, it's only an issue because we attempted to get the entire Chinese population on drugs and then fought the Opium Wars.

The EEC is falling apart. King Carlos got it right, he ran away. The market can't cope, markets can't cope. A command economy will rule. We're doomed cries John Laurie, doomed. Who'd have thought a bat or a pangolin would have read Das Kapital? How to control the world by accident.
