Well, I suppose the table doesn't lie and they therefore deserve the title, so (he says through gritted teeth) "Well Done" to them.
BUT.... wtflip is the BBC/Leeds love affair all about?!
The football page has been full of lovely articles about them since last night...... WAAAAY over the top!
It's not sour grapes, but I wonder if we would have had even 10% of the space, had WE won promotion then the title, without kicking a ball?!

Devil's advocate: they went from the semi-finals of the Champions League to the third division in little more than five years, and have spent well over a decade trying to claw their way back up to the top table again. The media like ready-made stories, and "riches to rags to riches" is one of the oldest around. However much we may all dislike them, I don't think there's another club who've been on a comparable journey this last twenty years.

Yeah, I also think that maybe lots of senior journalists were impressionable youngsters in the Don Revie era, and liked them as they were successful. (Boring, dirty, cynical but successful.)
Now they're 'back', these old alleigences (spell checker doesn't like that!) are back...

Surprisingly the only real gripe I have ever had about Leeds has been the disproportionate amount of their supporters, who are knuckle dragging boneheads, when compared to other clubs. Leeds and Millwall used to share the title.

Leeds fans will be an asset to the Premier League. Laugh  Laugh  Laugh  Laugh

Have you seen the pictures from the aftermath of the impromptu celebrations outside Bellend Road? They'd smashed up cars parked outside. Probably the player's cars.

Bellends!
