WBA players released
#1
Wilson & Fitzwater

Wilson - Lots of potential when younger, hasn't forced his way into the team.
I hope he finds a club and makes a career.

Fitzwater - Another hovered around the first team but never made the break through.
I'm sure both will get new clubs.

Games are what both guys need IMO, loans become more difficult to justify as the teenage years pass by.
Good luck to both, I wish them well.

Several other youngsters from the academy have also been released good luck to them all and hopefully WBA have given the chance to make successful football careers.

Ferguson's off then - rejected a new contract.

Must say, this freedom of contract (or whatever) does grate when a kid's head is turned by a 'bigger' club after all the care & time spent on him by the parent club.

A handful of impressive showings at Championship level followed by months on the bench, months more losing match fitness in lockdown, and potentially months to come waiting for competitive football at a new club. I do hope the kid knows what he's doing, because on the surface, this is not how you take a step up in your career.

Have we really missed Ferguson? If his head is not right then I’d rather he doesn’t play for us.

No, I agree dB, but my point is that he obviously has talent that we've nurtured and brought on; now someone else could well benefit

i wish the lad well in the rest of his career
but it seems to me yet another player that thinks we don`t match his ambitions
or is it the money as per
