The end of an era, as our captain and Albion legend Chris Brunt we leave the Albion when the season ends.
Good luck Chris where ever your journey takes you next.  Thumb up

Wow, what can I /anyone say?
A TRUE legend, loyal club man and a very, very good player. What a left foot - one of the best I've ever seen, and with that and his vision he created some wonderful goals and memories.

With Mozza and Brunty (nearly) gone as players we've lost 2 icons of the club - we'll probably never see that type of loyalty again.

Thanks and good luck, Brunty

In some ways it only feels like yesterday when he scored the goal that sent us up in 2008, end of his first season. Amazing to think that there are Albion fans out there old enough to drink and vote, whose earliest childhood memories of the club would have been Brunty scoring goals like that. A staggering period of service in modern terms, and I hope he'll return to us in a behind-the-scenes role when he hangs up his boots for good.

Spot on, Drewks. Two quite wonderful players who both added so much to the club

I’m gutted, it really put a downer on yesterday Cry

Good luck, excellent example of keeping faith with on team for 12 or so years. No doubt if he wishes it, there will be something he can do for us, say a scout in Ireland. Big Grin

Well, that's it for Brunty, as far as playing is concerned. Great to see him get MEANINGFUL game time last night; no way would SB have put him on when he did out of pure sentiment!
The bloke obviously really loves our club..... an almost unique length of service and loyalty in today's game.

This video shows firstly what an electric, dynamic winger he was before maturing into the cultured, clever, probing player we've seen in the last 5 years or so.
My favourite will always be the free kick v Everton - one of the best strikes of a dead ball I've ever seen.

"Thanks again Brunty - a TRUE legend".
