REARRANGED FOR SATURDAY 20TH JUNE 2020 AT 3PM
Only one point and two league places separate us as we take on the Latics, us having the slight advantage.
Head to head stats favour us:
Top scorers:
Josh Windass is now on loan at Sheffield Wednesday
Played for both
Anthony Pilkington, Gary Roberts and Joe Garner are presently in the Wigan squad
Wigan have been managed by Paul Cook since 2017, who also spent a couple of spells there as a player.
Wigan have had some good results, namely wins over top placed Leeds and West Brom AND both of them away from home.
Lets talk baked beans
Heinz make theirs at their factory at Kitt Green, Orrell, Wigan
That's a few minutes you won't get back again
Question is, are you a fan?
Are you a brand snob?
Do they make you fart?

I don't need no beans to make me fart, I'm indifferent to them in all fairness, I don't dislike them, nor do I seek them out for a mealtime.
Beans and anything else, I'm not too bothered if they are branded or not as long as they taste alright
Another day, another door, another high, another low

It's why Wigan is known as England's windy city Snoots, but do you know why Chicago is known as the windy city in the good ol' US of A?
A million house wife's every day,
pick up a can of beanz and say,
beanz meanz fartz
That was a quick sketch on some comedy prog back in the day - methinks Kenny Everett but could be wrong. Can't find it (yet) on You Tube.
Apparently I was a brat about them back in the day, had to be Heinz or HP (I think) but now Morrisons/Asda's cheapest will do. Well, where the hell do you think they are made? Neither Morrisons, Tesco or Asda have a beanz factory in L666s. When I fancy a really, really full English on Sunday morning I'll throw half a can into the nuclear reactor. Fewer beanz more sauce and a tweak to the sauce flavourings, you still fart the same come mid-afternoon.
Any hoo, as they say in the land of the Polar Bear, I see young Ms AmChaff is getting the hang of this graphics thing, . The Town Shop will be ordering framed versions for Christmas soon .

I spent about 40 years as an Heinz devotee, swapped allegiance to Branston for more than another 10. Now I will have the cheapest mainstream supermarket brands - that means I draw the line at smart price, savers, etc. Whichever I have, they make me fart for England. Only a couple of cans a month for me.

tbh this is what gets me about the red meat causing global warming bollocks and why we should all become vegemite-arians. Nowt wrong with a nice steak now and again. Yes cows produce a fair amount of good ol' Sister Methane, but there isn't a mammal on this planet that doesn't (well apart from women - but they don't know how much they produce in their sleep).
So the alternative is a diet based on beanz, pulses (more beanz), peas, chick peas, broad beanz, kidney beanz, green beanz and other assorted veggies and protein sources that cause windz to get your proteins. Wtf do these grass eaters think we'll all be emitting on a 15 minute basis on a meat free diet?
I get global warming - cows are not the problem - though the way Micky D and others serve them up might be - burning fossil fuels is, especially burning fossil fuels to make that wonderfully green, highly efficient and way overpriced fuel, electricity.
Sorry - got it now - eat more beanz, produce more windz, helps to blow them windmills around that produce "cheap" electricity.
Another political rant on a football fred.

Great film that. Clint Eastwood sings in it, to some trees.

I'm veggie. That's the 2nd time this week I have wrote that on here. You don't mention it for years then twice in a week! Like buses, eh!
My vegrenarianism precedes concerns about cows trumping so I am not following the current trends.

Yeh I know you're a long-time vegemite-arian AmChaff and fair-do's.
It's them that want to stuff me lawn and me dandelions down me throat that piss me off.
I can cook tasty vegemite-arian meals as well as bbq a nice piece of cow's ass given the gf's daughters went the same route as you in their teens when I was living over t'other side o' t'pond. As the eldest also had probs with gluten and they both weren't quite getting the protein balance right they've gone back to a half-way house kind of thing, still leaning mostly towards veg, but give 'em their due, they both lost an absolute pile of weight, which can only be healthy for them long term. No they didn't turn into a skinny Twiggy either.
Funny wot you get talking about on footy freds innit?
Any road up, we need 3 points from this please Mr. Skool Teach.
It can surely help that former Town prospect Joss Windass has gone to Wendies on loan, only to not score too many goals for them. What have they done to that goal machine Rhodes that used to score 4 every week at the home of The Massive when he played for us?
That said, Wiggin seem to have improved their form a tad as a result, only lost one in eight (I'm sure there's a song in that somewhere). Funny how that works innit?
Maybe it was one in ten??? UB 40, IB 60 something, UB a bit younger apparently jjamez.
