Which is an immense undertaking as we're suffering still from that Hull playoff defeat

SS I suspect Fessi was subbed because of the knock he got with that wild tackle on him just before HT.

As someone, maybe you, posted yesterday at the moment not even Pep could get this lot to perform. We need Fox back so we can dump Lees and Luongo back in midfield. Personally I’d drop Bannan since inspite of the occasional worldly pass i think he slows us down too much. The fans have known since the Hull game we’ve needed that midfield general but between Doyen and DC retaining players like it’s a game of snap it’s never happened. At the moment we’d do better letting Att have a go at picking the team and tactics and the MannCity youth team would probably stuff us in the cup.
I just hope we can avoid relegation and rebuild completely in the summer. But that’s a big ask because we’ll only be putting our target list together at the end of July Confused

Big ask indeed !! Looking at what we've got at the moment and who's leaving at the end of there contracts ?
We have also a goalkeeping ? Thrown on top of all this !
Borner if I'm right was only signed for a season aswell which again puts more spanners in the works !

We've got about 3 good players from all the contracts loans and dogshit that you can honestly say we would all want to play and one of them luango is turning into an Abdi !! The other 2 I picked are Penney and iorfa !!
Like I said the rest are either shit or out of contract !!

Imre Borner has a 3 year deal. It was the invisible Scottish CH we have on loan who has the 1 year.

Having read other forums the opinion is either sack Monk/;Sack the players/get us a new owner !!!

Now .. Chanseri is going nowhere (thats a given due to his investment)

Unlikely he will sack Monk (given his previous with other managers)

Players ..Undoubtedly some will be off in the summer (but not all)

My question is ..HOW THE F**K DO WE STOP THIS ROT ..obviously something is bad at S6 and none of the fans know (and will ever know what)

My question is ....what would you do if you could ??

I personally would give Monk the summer (as long as the chairman backs him..if he can), sell the saleable assets (Bannan, Palmer, Reach, Iorfa and Westwood) get rid of Hutch, FF , Lee and Lees then recruit loanees and cheapo players .... the sort like Luongo not the sort like Pelopussy,

We might have a shite start until the new players gel a bit ..but at least it's a start, we cannot have another season like this otherwise our crowds ar going to be sub 15k and the loss of income will start the whole cycle again !!!

All the above depends on the EFL buttraping us as WE all know they will

I don't conform to any conspiracy theories ..however some of the dodgy officials / EFL / Liverpool bullshit from over 30 years ago are making me reconsider this

And please guys ...sensible answers only ..I am genuinely curious as to what people think we can do to get our club back on an even keel

Agree with what you said there. About the only short term thing is to offer game by game money incentives to them for a win assuming that it’s still a motivator. Normally the carrot would be keep them on the hook with the potential for a new contract but Monk has blown that. But even they should be trying or they won’t be getting any offers when they are released especially for the money some of them will want.
