Hibs at home this time and should prove to be too much for a United side that, by all accounts, should've been beaten by Morton on Saturday but saved by Shankland again. This is the one player who could threaten Hibs progress to the 5th round of the Scot Cup and we need to "keep an eye on him" while trying to finish a cup tie that really should've been "done n dusted" at Tannadice with United only having two shots on Hibs goal and, unfortunately for us, two goals scored!! We need to "take our scoring chances" when they arise and stop scorning good scoring opps! C'mon Hibs!

I'm doubly nervous about this replay as Hibs still can't finish teams off. United know this and will always have a chance to punish us for that. Let's hope the team have their scoring boots on tonight.

FT 4-2 and Christian Doidge holds the scoring boots after "banging in" a "hat trick" of goals tonight in an attractive "end to end" cup tie in which Lawrence Shankland started the scoring with a stunning goal to make it 0-1 United. Thankfully Hibs "kept their shape" after a few shaky moments and eventually ran out deserved winners. Well done! Last night I said to my son that we need Doidge to be our pen box striker. He can play crap but inside the pen box is where he can do it and score the goals that we need - HE DID IT!!! Next stop BSC Glasgow!!

Thought it was a cracking game - Utd played well and scored a screamer to open the scoring, but I felt we were always the better side with Whittaker and newell running the middle of the park ( the latter has looked a lot better away from the wider areas of the park) I thought big Doidge was a bit of a donkey but he is getting among the goals now so fair play to him.

I think we are only 2/3 players from being a very decent side again. A favourable draw could see us in the semi's of the Scottish cup, and when you get there anything could happen!
