For the 4th or 5th game running very very poor ! Lucky to get a point, Johnstone made some massive saves. Few games to define our season in my opinion

That was quite simply the worst performance all season, and had it not been for Sam Johnston we would have been on the wrong end of an embarassing scoreline.

Wasn’t a great performance by all accounts and Barnsley more than deserved their draw.
Think it was a better performance than the Wigan one to be fair.

I managed to get a feed on the Barnsley iFollow site and although I appreciate the commentators are ‘homers’, it was nothing short of pathetic. Said the Baggies were wasting time from the 20th minute, Krivinovic should have been sent off for the challenge he was cautioned for, Pereira should have been red carded for high feet and that Barnsley didn’t get the same treatment as West Brom because West Brom are a ‘big’ club. Cringeworthy.

Our form has dipped since the Swansea game. The longer the lack of energy and poor passing goes on the issue gets worse.
Bilic needs to get a grip and get his "stick out" it's time to earn your money. The last 4 games IMO we haven't deserved any points, today was classical.
We scored quickly and looked as though we thought the game was over. Sam saved us time and time again - we were awful.
We are still top, but our performances are now unacceptable every week.
I've heard the teams we are playing are good, we can't win every game. These IMO are just excuses - we are playing rubbish.
As our performances against the WORST side in the division showed today.
COYB get back on the right path before our swept aside by the chasing pack.
Our trust / faith in Bilic will evaporate as our lead at the top gets closed down.

Looking back at this - it's the most OTT post i've done for a while, i have taken an Xanax and told myself to calm down.

Leeds currently losing to Preston who are up to third as it stands.

If the score stays the same, we will be 4 clear of Leeds and 10 clear of Preston.

Leeds finished 1-1.

We may not be playing as well as we were a few months ago, but this is still an embryonic team that is top of the table!!

And a quote from the BBC football website :
"Halme's leveller at least prevented Barnsley from slipping to the foot of the table.

But it could not prevent Albion from stretching their unbeaten streak to the club's best in the league in well over a century - since a 17-match run without defeat from December 1901 to March 1902".

I'll settle for that at the turn of the year!!

Hopefully, with the game v Middlesbrough tomorrow (Sunday) then the big 'un v Leeds 3 days later, our squad depth will be shown...... we seem to have quite a few players who have hardly played, but are of a similar quality to the regulars.

(This is no criticism of SB as IMO it WOULD be wrong to change a winning team.)

With this in mind, tomorrow's selection will be very interesting; it would seem common sense to rest a few for this one. Additionally, I believe that we should aim primarily to not lose to Leeds although a win would be fantastic!

Some of us are not impresed with our last few performances (me included)
We need another good dominating win like Swansea so we can get the party going again.
We're waiting to crack open the bubbly and party party party.
The league says we're the best and by a good margin - we need to believe it ourselves, we are in unfamiliar territory.
We have forgotten how to celebrate, best points, best players, best manager, we are the best COYB convince us.

I certainly believe it we are 11 points clear of 3rd place and 3 points clear of 2nd and we have not been playing well in our last few matches. We will go up I am completely confident .
