Apart from bringing me a smile, this twitter exchange proves that its only the "clique" who actually support Irvine (as Mulumbu has already proved with his tweets):

Ant Bailey ‏@Ant_Ay_It: "I bet @sebablanco23 didn't get this in the Ukraine! Let me know when you're free and we'll get coffee ha!"

Viva Fisher! ‏@Viva_Fisher: "He's always free on a Saturday afternoon"

Sebastian Blanco ‏@sebablanco23: "or Sunday"

Number of wins = 15 from 75 matches; a 20% ratio.

Number of wins by more than a one-goal margin = 5 (I appreciate that all wins count, but the fact is, there have been very few times in the last two years you could legitimately say we've outclassed an opposing team rather than riding our luck).

Number of times we've come from a losing position at half-time to win a match = 1

Number of times we've failed to win after leading by two goals or more = 6

These facts reflect so badly on everyone at this club, from top to bottom.  If we were some financially-knackered sinking ship like Portsmouth or Bolton then I'd actually applaud the staff and players for keeping us in the division in the face of adversity, but for a supposedly stable and established side, this is desperately poor.  I know we're always fighting an uphill battle against clubs with more financial muscle who've nicked our modus operandi (i.e. Southampton, West Ham), but we can and should be doing better than this.

It's time to stop clinging to what worked briefly in 2012 and start innovating again, behind the scenes AND out on the pitch.  I really want stability for the club - I really don't want us to be sacking gaffers every six months, or every time we hit a sticky patch - but true stability will never come with this constant cycle of mediocrity.

Hope you don't mind Skad I have copied and pasted those Figures and sent them to JP

The third time I have emailed him this season.........

What's Mulumbu said?

It was that sarcy comment about being left on the bench about a month ago, cant remember the exact wording though.

If I was him Id put a transfer request in, its a joke he has been left out so much this season.

There's a few players been left out by Irvine after actually performing well - Mulumbu, Saido and Varela.

It would make sense for all of them to be looking for a move, as well as Gamboa, Yacob, Samaras and Blanco
who haven't been given a fair crack.

It seems the only way to be a nailed on starter for Irvine is to be a sideways passing journeyman who wouldn't
look out of place in a Championship side. Dorrans, Gardner and Brunt can do no wrong.

I was a guest at the game today and sat close to the Directors box where JP occupied the front row with his woolly hat pulled down to either keep out the cold or make him anonymous.

After their second goal he stood up with a massive scowl on his face stormed out not to be seen again.

My guess is from his body language that he was on a mission and I would further suggest AI will be gone by tomorrow.

In the first half, our most effective player was Stephane Sessignon and what does AI do ? Takes him off to the echoes of 'You don't know what you're doing'. If it wasn't so serious, it bordered on the amusing when travelling Baggies joined with the Sjokies singing 'Sacked in the morning'

We were absolute dross today. Team selection awful. We were robbed when we bought Brown Ideye - he couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards. Berahino was his sulky self. Varela tried to light a spark but had damp matches. Just an overall hopeless.

So dismal and down heartening.

Great insight there, baggieman.

You have to feel for Jeremy, somewhat. After last seasons farce you would have thought it couldn't get any worse yet somehow, it has.

Matter of time according to a lot of people on twitter, he has been given his marching orders Thumb up
