So a new season has started and we decide to get off to a winning start The three new signings all started and did well with Harris being the pick of the 3. It was Harris who opened the scoring, cutting in from the right and firing past their keeper. We started the 2nd half Ok but Reading scored with there first attack of the half, Meite climbing above Palmer and sending a header arching into the corner. We hit straight back as Hutch headed in from a corner. We seemed to be handling the game fairly well until Westwoods rush of blood and a subsequent red card. We managed the game fairly well then sealed the 3 points when Joao turned and finished well.

THE MATCH



Our first home game of the season sees us entertain the Dingles. The Dingles started there season with a fine win over Fulham at Oakwell. Think the Dingles will do Ok this season maybe a mid table finish the best they might look for. No particular star players but they do tend to play some decent football. They are managed by Daniel Stendel who is one of many linked with the managerial job here at Hillsborough. We are unbeaten in our last 10 v The Dingles, there last win coming 10 years ago, a 1-0 win at Hillsborough.
