Pre season matches 2019
#21
According to those on Twitter the stream never came back. It sounded scrappy from the Examiner report. Heavy rain with the pitch cutting up, but yes, good result. Apparently Jan wanted German opposition in these matches because their pre season is further on than ours, so two wins and a draw are good scores before Wednesday's big game at Rochdale.

The new 2. Bundesliga season starts on the 26th July so all the teams in it have been at pre-season for about a month, maybe more, now. It’s a good idea by Siewart to test the team against opposition who have been well underway into pre-season and coming towards pique condition. Much better than playing teams who are only a few weeks in.

2 good results against Greuther Fürth (who should finish around 9-12th next season) and now beating a promotion favourite is a great week for Huddersfield.

Good luck to you guys for the season.

Slow and boring 1st half played out in typical pre season fashion

2nd half much better on the ball, quicker and more upbeat tempo.

Plenty of work still to do

Apparently, we beat Coventry 4-1 today in a closed doors game. Grant 2, Diakhaby and Stankovic with the goals.

We needed to score one more goal and he would have considered it

Tonight's match at Donny was delayed due to crowd congestion. Thousands of Town fans turned up without tickets, imagining they were back in the last century, before online ticketing had been invented and there was no social media telling them they needed a ticket for at least three times a day for the last month. Whistle

Come on everybody. It's only a friendly, yes, but this is 2019.

Van la Pazza opens the scoring. Assist from (who else?) Collin Quaner. Big Grin

Bacuna makes it two, then gets subbed.
