We could smuggle him out in their kit hamper. The Great Escape in reverse.

Mounié misses a match winning winning sitter from 8yds in injury time for Benin v 10 man Ghana. Why aren't I surprised? Head like a thrupenny bit that lad, it was the one and only time he got near the ball in the Ghana box that I saw. His team mate that scored twice attacked the ball at the near post to score his 2nd goal in particular. As someone that regularly got banned from a number of forums used to say, it ain't rocket science. (no it wasn't me, honest guv Smile ).

It was a bad miss. I don't think he'll be here much longer. Don't think Jan fancies him. But missing stuff like that just puts prospective buyers off. Doh

Anyway never mind that.  How bad was that ref in the Benin game? 55th minute gives a lad a second yellow for wasting time. All he did was leave the free kick for his keeper to take. 2-1 up in the 55th minute. Doh Huh Blush Rolleyes

Our brave boys have set sail for far off foreign lands, mob handed with 26 players.

Town’s squad for Austria
Joel Coleman, Ryan Schofield, Luke Mewitt; Juninho Bacuna, Jaden Brown, Reece Brown, Matty Daly, Adama Diakhaby, Rarmani Edmonds-Green, Tommy Elphick, Karlan Grant, Florent Hadergjonaj, Jonathan Hogg, Ben Jackson, Elias Kachunga, Terence Kongolo, Josh Koroma, Moses Makasi, Aaron Mooy, Lewis O’Brien, Alex Pritchard, Collin Quaner, Christopher Schindler, Tommy Smith, Jon Gorenc Stanković, Rajiv van La Parra

Obvs no Mounie there. Still on international duty. So who else is conspicuous by their absence?
Billing. Zanka. Any more?

Hamer not there either. Very inexperienced goalkeepers.

Think I read somewhere Hamer has been told to find another club or sit in his garden and pick his noses, or was that prune his roses, for the rest of his contract. Either way he did a good job of fooling us into believing he is a professional goalkeeper worthy of a two year contract.

Tommy Smith made the trip I see. Not having talks at Celtic then, as some would have us believe. Rolleyes
