.... and now the club is saying that the new HC will be in place by the end of June.
Well, I suppose if they appoint him tomorrow then they're right; however I really hope they won't waste 2/3 precious weeks coming to a conclusion.
Maybe it's a good sign regarding this German guy though - isn't he still employed by his club for a few more weeks?
Wishful thinking, maybe.

Labbadia’s contract at Wolfsburg runs until the 30th June. Therefore he can agree to take over but he can’t officially start at the club until his Wolfsburg contract ends.
If he is our man then it’d be good to get an agreement sorted as soon as we can so he can spend June watching our matches from last season, look at the squad and start working out potential signings so he is ready to crack on with it in July.
In addition to enjoying a holiday and sorting out family plans.

Maybe Josh can confirm Bruno is contracted until the 30th June,
Now if that's the case WBA could not announce this till the end of June as compensation is still payable if they do,
With two rounds of talks and him wanting to manage in England etc etc .......
Or am I just putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5 ?

Just looked on the Wolfsburg website and they start pre-season on the 30th June with their new Head Coach. That means Glasner starts work early.
Our players return to training on the 24th June. With Glasner starting at Wolfsburg early, if an agreement can be made between us and Wolfsburg, Labbadia could be able to start with us on the 24th June. That would mean Wolfsburg paying up the remainder of his contract in one go.

Josh, yeah - let's hope he agrees to be our man BEFORE he watches many of our matches from last season!

For CH cover I would sign Gary Cahill on a free. The issue if we wait we lose the player and his transfer fee vanishes - just like Chadli. We have let 10 players go already - time to fill a few gaps. We all know what we need Dowling needs to earn his salary or jog on.

Wouldn't it be fantastic to introduce a number of foreign players and shake the traditional thinking up.
I'm not familiar with the Bundesliga ? I will bow to your knowledge Josh.
I'm just totally disillusioned with Dowling - Jenkins has either banned him from signing anyone or he is useless.
He may as well get a hi-viz and Direct the traffic because "Director of Football" at WBA he ain't.
Out of the 150+ players released in just the championship are none of them good enough for us?
I don't believe it. Are we waiting for the dross to be left before we take a chance? If we sign one a week
we wont have filled the gaps we have before the new season starts.
It's the players they're on "holiday" I hear people shout - it's the agents they're waiting for the "best deals" - all excuses.
If players need to be asked twice if they would like to play for us - forget them and move on.
If Labbadia is coming Dowling should already have signed a few of his targets - they must be better then the holes we currently have.
My impatient nature is showing again. This is a big reason of what's wrong with our club - No decisive plan of action at the top.
