He’s a German Coach formerly of Holstein Kiel and Köln (Cologne). He took Holstein Kiel from the 3. Bundesliga to the 2. His teams style is rather unique. It’s a possession based game built into a 4141 formation where the wingers and two central midfielders play very high up the pitch (practically number 10’s) with the full backs tucking inside to cover the centre midfield area making it a 2341 in possession. Out of possession it’s a high pressing game with a high defensive line.
Although I know nothing about the guy you are suggesting Josh it would be good if our owners looked at alternatives rather than the 'safe' few. The likes of Farke, Espirito Santo and Hasenhuttl to a lesser extent have shown that experience of English football is not really a necessity. Unfortunately, I am not sure our board are bold enough to go in this direction.......just waiting for TP to be announced!!!!!

As I never try to guess what the Albion hierarchy will do, I really have no idea if they are seriously considering Danny Cowley as our next manager. However, if they are then I'm honestly delighted as this is the sort of enlightened, fresh but possibly risky step I was hoping they would take. I appreciate he's untried and untested at Championship level but his approach is a breath of fresh air. I'm probably still expecting us to appoint Hughton because it will seem safe - although I'm not sure why - but giving the job to Cowley would signal an intention that we are a forward looking club, not one that is stuck in the past, hiring past it and failed managers

Graham Potter.
Heavily linked with him a year ago; goes to Swansea and does pretty well in 1st year in our leagues despite drastic limitations, and is now going to be Brighton's new HC.
Again, we missed a trick surely in not bringing him back from Sweden?
The ONE time we should have gone for an old boy, we don't!!
(hindsight, I know, and also realise that Big Dave had to be given a chance this season, but it IS ironic! )

Darren did a good job, apart from his loyalty to Jones - that IMO cost him in the end.
Sad that promotion while reducing wage bill and creating a transfer surplus was his remit.
Proud man DM and Jenkins had him in the palm of his hand. I was probably his biggest critic, but boy did I have respect for the guy.
For us the supporters it was all about the team rebuild and introduction of academy players over a 2-3 year period IMO not Promo in his first season.
Potter was to expensive now and with DA at Brighton it was a more attractive opportunity. Understandable.
Jenkins and Dowling have not figured it out yet - a good manager can create millions of pounds for a club but they do cost money
While they are in charge we will continue to fall from grace whilst being run on a shoestring  .

This is the reality of modern football, Chelsea and Man City bought success and dominance, they have managed to buy into a closed shop, financial superpower,and global market monopolisation, having opened a path, a blueprint on how to win silverware, the football bodies, in order to protect their buddies, Liverpool, arsenal, man utd, Barcelona, Real Madrid etc etc they changed the rules to prevent fair competition.
We are not a financial bigwig and will never compete on a level playing field, the dingles got away with it but will come unstuck if they continue trying to do it. Our future is kids, untried foreign unknowns, people that do not demand massive transfer fees or wages, we have to try and mould a bunch of rag tags into a performing unit .... three years ago when we were a mid table premier team we should have been bolder, sacked TP, brought in a more aggressive style of play and spent the money when we could earn it, cemented an also ran place but now we are back as a yo yo club if we're lucky, we have to 'reestablish a foot hold and start at the bottom again.
Dowling is talking sense .... 39 million loss over three years is unrealistic and the status quo is firmly protected, we have to cut our cloth ... this kind of protectionism has not been seen since al capone.

Yup agree with 4eva and SCO on the other thread: this is reality. We cannot employ players on PL wages. Simple.
I yearn for the set up of maybe 10 or 12 years ago when we had the scouting talent to unearth real gems for nothing. Dorrans and Gera spring to mind, but there were many more; this is where our future is, I think.
