Deano selling the club - end of an era
#1
It's official. A Club statement has just announced that he is selling up to the bloke who owns Pure Legal.

Thoughts? Good move? Bad move?

Sounds like he was at Death's Door, desperate to find a new owner and rang Hodgkinson up from hospital.

Sad to see him go but glad he's announced it before Sunday's game and not some time in the Summer when we're all on a beach even if figuratively somewhere. We can only thank him for where he's taken us all so far. Let's be honest - it's been a blast for the most part.

Honestly, not too happy with it. Granted he's a town fan, but does he have the money? I mean we're all town fans but does that mean we can buy the club? I just want to know how he did, I dont really want the club being saddled with loads of debt because our new owner hasn't the cash to makes us tick. Look at Bolton

He's been at Southport apparently. And so has had to resign his position there. Make of that what you want.

He was only a director at Southport. His company isn't worth much really, so who or where is this money from?

Hoyle is worth 250 million but couldn't really make us sustainable before promotion.

This guy I don't think will have the financial power to help us. He'll have the parachutes and the player sales, but I don't want to be doing a Portsmouth or Coventry

Deano says he is in the same mould as him and won't be splashing the cash. It's still about stability.
