Not sure what to say about this weeks results but lets try some appropriate words - pathetic, disastrous, feeble, woeful, sorry, poor, pitiful, lamentable, deplorable, miserable, wretched, contemptible, despicable, inadequate, meager, paltry, insufficient, negligible, insubstantial, unsatisfactory, worthless, useless, shocking, piteous, puny and finally laughable!!! If anyone is counting that is one more descriptive word than points scored in the PL this week!!!!
We will start at the top, not that its that high this week!!! Beefy and Sanjay finished in joint first on 7 points, yep no double digit scores this week. Amazingly Sanjay scored on half of the games but missed both his Gamball and Bonus so gave back most of those points!! Beefy bottled the Gamball, saving him 3 points and these two were the only ones to get a Correct Score this week!!
We drop a whole 3 points down the 3rd place where we find BBB on 4 points courtesy of 4 correct results and like everyone this week bugger all else!! Our leader Zinman came in 4th on 3 points, of course he didn’t play the Gamball and like the rest might as well of not played at all!! Amelia was level with Zinman on 3 points and was the only person this week to actually pick up points on the Bonus!!!!
In sixth place was SCO on 2 points closely followed by Matt on 1 point. Not many points and even less to say about both of these two!! After that we drop into the negative scores where in joint 8th we find Derby and Lord Snooty on -1 each. Both with identical crapness!!! Worldclass obviously knew something we didn’t as he didn’t manage to predict any games this week and yet will lose virtually no ground in the process. In summary, that last line says it all for what is probably a record low week!!!!!
Should have let Beefy score it this week, he could have used most of his flippers and fins to work out the scores!!!!
Cheers
SCO
Zinman's lead at the top was clipped by 2 points from last week, but as our oracle stated a couple of weeks ago, it's still his to lose as game management kicks in to protect the 16 point lead he holds over Beefy who moves back into 2nd, poised for any chinks in our leader's armour, as we enter the last few weeks of the season.
BBB is only a solitary point further back in 3rd while SCO was unable to close the gap on the top 3 and finds himself another 10 points away in 4th. Realistically, this seasons champion is going to come from these top 4 as there's a 20 point back to our mid table predictors.
Matt is the first of these somehow managing to climb a place into 5th this week with the return of just a single point from this weeks games as Derby dropped back to 6th to make way for him courtesy of slipping into the negative territory for the week.
Sanjay joined him for a share of 6th as just a point covers 3 positions in the race to be top of the also rans, no prize monjey involved, just pride. Worldclass remains 8th and destined to scrap for his Premiership place in the end of season play-off.
Amelia, 9th and Snooty, 10th will be predicting from the Championship next year and will be facing 2 games in a week and long Wednesday night trips in February across the country to Grimsby to compete (actually they won't, but I thought it sounded good), at least they'll be doing it together

Typing this listening to the cup semi with 5 minutes to go - so apologies if there are any expletives in this write-up due to a late goal.
It was all going ok for the Championship players until late on Sunday afternoon but that 94th minute penalty ruined a number of scores - including an 11 point swing for both 4eva and Themaclad. Personally though thought it was great! Once again the balls caused a lot of problems with the gamball and bonus losing the Championship a total of 22 points.
Well out on top this week is Stairs, the only player in double figures and the only player to get the gamball right (I'm not including the other player to go for a draw as he wasn't brave enough to gamble - wuss!). Stairs also got more correct scores and results than any other predictors so no surprise that he ended up with more than double the score of his nearest rival.
The rest of the table are bunched up in a week that probably won't see much change in the battle for promotion. 4eva edges 2nd place with 4 correct predictions and this week's only positive bonus ball, but without that late penalty he would have been top - fine margins (and I suspect he doesn't mind too much!). Quantum again benefited from his refusal to gamble and secures 3rd place.
Joker and Bomber are locked together (not a pleasant thought) with 4 points - Bomber correctly predicted the gamball result but only picked up 2 points as he didn't have the courage of his convictions. Long time leader Themaclad had a poor week with just 3 points though he was one of only 3 players to get a score spot on - will the Watford penalty be significant at the end of the season for him? Probably not.
Joint bottom are BaggieOne and Twerton. BaggieOne actually got the gamball score correct but will be cursing Bomber and Beefy for deciding that the 90 minute score counted - in fact as the score was 1-2 after 90 minutes, perhaps it'll be 4eva and Themaclad bombarding the committee with demands for a recount (don't blame me, I just do the commentary, scoring and sh1t stirring!)

As the weeks run out nobody looks as though they’re going to gate-crash the top 2 promotion party. There could though still be a battle to see who makes the climb into the Premiership as champions and runners up. Themaclad still leads the way as he has done for 99% of the season but slowly and surely, Quantum is whittling away his lead which now stands at just 8 points as we enter the business end of the season.
Bomber still holds onto the play-off spot in 3rd and somehow managed to eek out another couple of points advantage over Twerton in 4th courtesy of the dingles failure to hold on to a 2 goal lead with 10 minutes left, cruel, but very very amusing.
Stairs could yet throw his hat into the ring in the chase for 3rd especially if he can put a run of scores together like this week and repeat the points swing over those above him. He climbs a place into 5th, with 4eva dropping a place back in 6th just a further 4 points back, again courtesy of the dingles down the road.
BaggieOne looks like his season has petered out with a whimper as he realistically looks set for 7th, with little hope of improving on that position, but certainly secure that he won’t drop to the bottom as he holds a 60 point advantage over Joker who’s had a firm hold of the dreaded wooden spoon for a majority of the season.
