A complete nobody and non-starter IMHO.
(With all due respect to PNE fans - Alex Neil might be good for the Preston goose but not a good fit for the Albion gander.)

 I thought Albion's was a singing bird - a nightingale - not which?

I've not a clue what's going on now, but I can draw strength that I'm not on my own. Play off safe but, huge confidence boost needed. Arrogance of Jenkins has left us manageeless for the foreseeable. Interesting keeping an eye on 6th place though.

Play off not safe not yet anyway, only three games between us, and seventh, same as from us to Leeds, a couple of defeats either way and we could be holding on to automatic coat tails or clinging on to sixth .....

If Albion did approach us for Neil would suspect the answer would be go away after all after yesterday outside play offs on goal difference only, would be utter madness to let him go
Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

Themaclad, Your right, he would be mad to consider it right now and your chairman would be mad to let him go. You have a real chance of making the play offs, hopefully at the expense of the vile, which is probably where we will end up too, taking you guys up, no disrespect intended, would be a greater achievement than taking us, a relegated prem side, back up. Heres hoping we can go on an eight game winning streak to automatic promotion and you guys can win the playoffs. Good luck not withstanding Apr 13th.

Two words ........ CHEAP OPTION.

have we not learnt ...... big Dave did great end of last season but to do the same again this year is not the long term option ..... bring in the permanent new man NOW and he can save our season and gain an insight into what we have, what we need and who we don't, harsh but true, ahead of what should be a big post promotion rebuild ..... here's hoping.
More likely another championship campaign looking up at the vile and watching the dingles raping and pillaging europe on a disaster of a Europa league / relegation season ...... Villa bottom 9pts, wolves second bottom 10points and embarrassed in Europe ....... if Carlsberg did premier league seasons
