Will never forget that goal, but also never forget my first derby game at Hillborough back in 1979!!!

Story of my life really, I'd get a bye in a shagging contest   , but I couldn't get tickets for that game having emigrated to Scarborough a few years before   I did actually make it to the stain for the return fixture which, if memory serves me, was a bit of a damp squib after the fireworks of boxing day   1-1 TC  

I was the opposite way round, I didn't manage to get a ticket for the return fixture but was delighted when it was actually featured on Match of the Day, which was an honor back in those days!!!

stat attack ..... games won 48 games drawn 46 games lost 49 so the sequence is obvios ! also since 1993 twice have we won after 2 games have been drawn on the trot ... and since 1970 weve won another 3 after a drawn game. so again the sequence is in our favour ..thirs time lucky and all that !

Been thinking about it all bloody weekend this has not helped being a monday night game ! havnt gone to work today it would have been a waste of time but lucky enough its carnaval long weekend here so the bloody traffic in the centers a nightmare

But strangely enough i dont seem to be nervous .the fact that we are underdogs and with a manager that knows all about winning big games also helped ! and wilder is shiting himself more this time as hes actually sending compliments out


Get fester on the ball and have a punt from the start of the game and i can quite easliy see us going in at Ht 2 or 3 up ! but we will have to play a better second half than we did against swansea though or the 3 goal lead will disapear and we might find ourselfs throwing it away ! Tactics are the key and i believe Bruce has the upperhand
