St Johnstone v Hibs, Wed 27 Feb, KO 7.45pm

Another away challenge for Hibs and it looks like "crunch time" has arrived for a top six place with Saints and Hibs on the same pts total but Hibs having a superior GD. Horgan will likely be missing due to injury and that will be a big loss as he has been playing well. PH may well use big Marv for this one just to give our mid-defence area a bit of stability but we'll wait n see. It wouldn't surprise me if this match is a stalemate.

A fixture we have struggled with a bit, saint johnstone are difficult opponents.

However the players should have a bit of confidence behind them now and should be looking for a good result to take into the cup game.

FT 1-2 and a 3rd consecutive win for Heckingbottom - a gutsy win by 10 man Hibs although I can't figure why the manager took off Stevie Mallan instead of Slivka who was already on a yellow card. Anyway, job done and we jump clear of Saint Johnstone plus only 3 points behind Hearts - no longer that 12 pts lead they had not so long ago!

Great win. We are on a run now, we are in a very good place. Think we will take Celtic close at the weekend.

Odd to think that after a real train wreck of a season we are only 3 point behind hertz now. If only potter could get his team to put in the same amount of effort against other teams than he does v sellick and us they actually might be contenders.
