If there are no fresh injury concerns then I’d like to see:
Johnstone
Holgate - Dawson - Hegazi - Gibbs
Harper - Livermore - Field
Murphy - Gayle - Rodriguez

I can't see Harper or Field starting after playing against BHA, we may have seen the last of the youngsters once the new players take
the positions up. I hope Harper has signed now or we may well lose him?

I really hope you're wrong, Phil. Both Harper and Field have been real pluses in recent matches so to drop them now would be a really poor decision, in my view.

Livermore returned from suspension and sat on the bench for 78 minutes in his first match back last week rather than replace Harper or Field so I don’t think Darren will be dropping Harper and Field unless it’s deserved.

It would also destroy their confidence if they were dropped in an unjustified manner so I don’t Darren will do that.

Pulis currently Pulising Bielsa.

Don't mind that score, as long as we beat sjoke ...... would put us four behind Leeds with a game in hand and them first game up in March ....... Can t see the Canaries having their wings clipped tomorrow but any points dropped by teams above us can only be good ...... Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up

Given the amount of games coming up in the next few weeks I think they'll feature, Harper certainly will even if they won't be starting every game. The loan players haven't all been playing regularly so they might need to build up a bit before they can play 90 minutes week in week out.

I didn't mean this in a bad way, the youngsters may need a break, but if the new guys come in and we win, DM & GJ don't change winning sides we know that. It's always difficult to accommodate everyone in a midfield of 3 (Livermore is certain of one spot) that leaves 2 - I think johansen will take the other that leaves 1 - Phillips/Hoolahan/Murphy/Mozza/Brunt/Field/Harper/Edwards/Barry/etc to fight for the other place????

Harper and Field dropped to the bench. Johansen and Murphy start.

Johnstone
Holgate - Dawson - Hegazi - Gibbs
Livermore - Barry - Johansen
Murphy - Gayle - Rodriguez

Subs: Bond, Bartley, Mears, Field, Harper, Montero, Hoolahan

It’s our best 11 from what’s available but I’m very disappointed that Harper and Field are out of the 11. Maybe they’re being rested after playing last Saturday and Wednesday.

We play again on Tuesday (Forest) so maybe this is squad rotation.

Not a bad first half. Stoke look weak and I feel a second goal before half time would have been a better situation.

Half time talks could motivate Stoke and we have to deal with DMs substitutions and they can cost us at least one goal!!!

Bit like a few weeks ago
We don’t seem to want to get out of second gear
Johnstone scares the shit out of me

Stoke are starting to get into the game - ffs Darren please flood the midfield and stop them.
Sit and do nothing and i won't forgive you if they score.

Sadly that was not the thing to do, putting a winger on. Brilliant tactics again

We got away with that one, back up to 4th with a game in hand

A win at Stoke - keep track of that it's rare for us,
