WBA vs Stoke & Nottm Forest
#1
[Image: WBAForest.jpg]

It's worth remembering, as our charge for automatic promotion comes off the rails, that this time last year many of us feared back-to-back relegations. Even as recently as August, it looked more likely that we were set for mid-table mediocrity than for any part in the promotion race, and nothing can illustrate that better than the current position of our co-relegates Stoke, who we visit on Saturday. Filling the side with Albion rejects has (surprisingly enough) done them little good, and even a change of managers hasn't lifted the malaise. They're likely to give us a game nevertheless, as will Forest, who visit the Hawthorns on Tuesday night.

Even if we're adjusting our sights to the playoffs, a place in the top six is by no means guaranteed, and we really do need at least one win from these two to keep the wheels rolling.

Being a localish derby, I’ll be there as usual as an invited guest in a VIP area which causes me to have to be discreet when the Mighty Baggies score or win. It’s a suit and tie job but it will be my West Brom tie!!!
In recent seasons we have done well against Sjoke unlike always losing when Pulis was Sjoke’s HC.  Let’s hope we turn the corner after losing on the last two outings against Boro and Brighton.

I’d like to see Murphy start tomorrow with Johansen and Montero on the bench ready to come on in the second half.

If there are no fresh injury concerns then I’d like to see:
Johnstone
Holgate - Dawson - Hegazi - Gibbs
Harper - Livermore - Field
Murphy - Gayle - Rodriguez

You're starting to sound like Fireymouse Baggieman. Don't tell me you will be having prawn sandwiches and glasses of Peroni at half time..

I can't see Harper or Field starting after playing against BHA, we may have seen the last of the youngsters once the new players take
the positions up. I hope Harper has signed now or we may well lose him?
