Lovely mark of respect tonight for Emiliano Sala before the match and during.

Before the match the fans behind one goal held up a large Argentina flag with a message in Spanish followed by a large picture of Sala whilst the opposite goal had a 9 made out of plastic sheets and the long end opposite the camera had Sala spelled out in plastic sheets.

In the 9th minute the match was paused and a one minute applause held. The players also have Sala on the back of their shirts.

Respect - fair play to the French.

I hope the bodies of the two men can be found now so they can be given a proper funeral and the families can get proper closure.

Cardiff and Bournemouth gave Sala and the pilot a lovely remembrance on Saturday evening. I really feel for Neil Warnock because of the time and effort he put into talking to Sala and convincing him to join Cardiff. It won’t surprise me if he chooses to retire at the end of the season because of how hard this has hit him.

Breaking news is that they are going to bring the plane up tomorrow and underwater footage shows that one body is still actually in the plane,
Shame it's just the one , both families could have done with closure Confused

Difficult situation is this.

Was he a Cardiff player, had he signed on the dotted line and had all the paperwork gone through and, most importantly, was he insured by either Nantes or Cardiff City.

Given the stance of the French, it wouldn’t surprise me if he actually HAD signed for Cardiff but they HADN’T effected any insurance .  Could be a very expensive mistake by someone.

Have to say when I first heard about the plane going missing it crossed my mind at what stage was the actual transfer at and who would be owed what? Seemed a bit callous to mention it at the time but you can guarantee lawyers are now involved to decide who owes who what!!

And I would imagine the agent will be mercenary, too.
Not all men are sexist but all men can stop sexism. CALL IT OUT!
