finally ran out of patience with BD
he has to go
that second half was, in a word Shocking
amazed we scored
and to credit to Brentford made us look very average

play like that friday we will be on the end of a thrashing
sorry BD your time is up

The stats say that we had 23 shots at goal but only 5 were on target!!!!
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

How irritating. We'll need to be much more clinical against the villa.

Really don't think this one was his fault tbf. He's not the reason our strikers forgot how to shoot. And we're 3rd.

In a way I agree with both
But had Gayle been on in the first half he would have scored three,
The use of his subs is baffling, Morrison was knackered 25 from the end yet left him on,
Also going into injury time we dropped deep and again Dm didn't use any subs to break up play
Baffling really on two accounts tired players, not breaking up play in injury time
Every manager does it,
Just seen the goal came from a fowl throw to make it worse
Indirectly Dm was more to blame than you think Angry

Waste of two hours of my life yet again wish i‘d been at work now with no chance of putting myself through the pain of that I honestly hate watching my team I can count on one hand in the past 20 years where it’s been a pleasure to watch and before anybody chimes in I was at work when we hammered Leeds and I got home to watch only to find the failed recording of twat twat tv yet again

Thing is also not taking off tired players could come back to haunt us,
Villa have two days extra rest than us already,
Ambraham,Kodja and Bolasi could tear us one to be honest Confused
Hope I'm wrong and we do a Leeds Thumb up

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely think Gayle should be starting for us cos he's one of the best goalscorers in the league, but Hal and Jay Rod looked good when we won 3 in a row, so he couldn't really drop either of them. Hopefully he'll fit Gayle into this formation for Villa, cos they're looking very strong going forward and will be better rested than us, so i imagine we'll need a few goals.

No matter what failings DM has, last nights draw was not down to him. How can he be responsible for the appalling finishing of JRod and hrk. Yes he picks the team, but come on, any half decent Sunday league player would have taken those chances. That game should have been over at half time. Incidently, thought the ref was shocking and brentfords game delaying/disrupting tactics were a joke. No way the game could flow in the second half as they went down with fake injuries every few minutes.

Think your missing the point though
Lets forget missed chances we are 1-0 up going into the last ten
Yet DM leaves a tired Midfield on , Morrison couldn't run...
We have two subs left , Dm should have freshened things up, We even got to 90 mins 1-0 up so why as other managers do did he not disrupt injury time and make two substations,
Im no manager and Dm is more a manger than me , but these were basic things he didn't do that anyone can see,
We will never know if it had worked but with DM not doing it what happened we all could see coming Confused

I agree, Beefy, there was a painful inevitability to last night's match. When the third official put up 5 minutes added time, I'd have bet my house that we'd blow it...sadly, they didn't let me down.
