Just seen the draw for the FA Trophy; it turns out we`re at home to Basford United. I know they`re from Nottingham, but not much else.

They're a very ambitious little club, bizarrely aiming eventually for EFL status. Why don't we ever draw anybody who is like pootling down the middle of the road and going nowhere in a hurry.

It`s a bit difficult to get drawn against yourselves, Dev; I`m not sure that that`s allowed. (Sorry. Only joking - honest.)

I`ve just looked them up and it turns out they`re in the Evo-Stik Premier, the same as Buxton and Matlock. They have a cracking home record this season (8 wins and 1 draw out of 9) but not so hot away (2 wins and 2 draws out of 9).

Yes they are doing very well and they have a very dangerous and experienced centre forward called Liam Hearn. They knocked out Curzon Ashton 2-1 on Saturday - 'n' they're just below middle of the division below us. Cameron Mason ex-Chesterfield juniors keeps goal for them and that was the club where Kristian Dennis scored all his goals ........ so it's a difficult tie, or would be if we are interested in the FA Trophy.

Potential embarrassment, but so is life itself.

We should be interested in something.
Wouldn't mind a day out at Wembley but we would have to win a few first.
Cant see a crowd of much more than 1k though
