I`ve just watched MA`s post-Sutton interview on SD. He`s clearly not a happy bunny and there seems to be a bit more to it than just the way we played; although that was pretty bloody awful, by the sound of it. I listened to the commentary on SD.

He made what I thought was a very pointed comment about preparation for the game not being what it should have been and virtually refused point-blank to answer the question about Tom Denton suddenly being eligible to play when MA himself had already said in the pre-match interview that he wasn`t. Call me suspicious, but it sounds very much like another `cock-up on the admin front`.

That would be a first for CFC, wouldn`t it.

BUT MA still could have left Denton on the bench and started Amantchi, if that was what he had been preparing for.

However bad the team was last night the reaction on Bob's today is ridiculous. We did get an away draw at one of the best teams in the league. We were obviously still trying at the death ....... which is important. And Sutton were only able to score one against us.

Had Amantchi started I think MA had heaped unnecessary pressure on him anyway with the big announcement of his debut ........ but reading Bob's I wonder what they expect on a cold Tuesday night away on a long away trip following a tough Saturday match, on a plastic pitch, against decent opponents, all this from our team who have only won once in living memory .......

Fans constantly complain that we hit the ball in the air, but they were all for signing the giant Denton. Do they think he's David Silva or what? How did they think we'd use him? They hated Smith two weeks ago, now he's scored two goals and they're having him beatified.

If we had won all our recent draws 1-0 and were regularly endangering passing pedestrians with our beefily over-hit long balls there wouldn't be a moan to be heard.

The problem is we aren't winning and we're a crap club and it is showing up from Denton's non-suspension to the pathetic match preview on our website. We are what we seem and the fans are joining in with arms full of garbage.
