2-0 like many say is such a weird scoreline, looks comfortable but then the next goal is the one that is the turning point, 3-0 game over, 2-1 and all of a sudden all the momentum is with the team that's just scored.
2-2 for us feels like a point gained (stolen more like) and one that we really didn't deserve

That foul language should be filtered out. Not sure how it got through and we are investigating. We all have our standards and some sadly are lower than others.

Well we got a point from a very poor display again! How? I am not quite sure. Yes we hit the bar (Gayle) and maybe we should have had a penalty, but overall our defence and midfield were appalling! I was cursing Big Dave when he took two strikers off and put on two midfield pensioners but it sort of worked!
We look so slow and ponderous at the back and every time we try to play our way out from the back it gives me the jitters. Our midfield couldn't bring the forward line into play and as a result our strikers were isolated and relying on occasional good balls. Thanks to the sheer quality of Barnes we rescued a point.
Oh well back to the shrine on Saturday! Boing Boing!

A positive that I’m going to take away from last night is that, even though we played terribly, we were still able to get a result after being behind. How many times have we done that in recent years? It’s got to be less than a one handful. This means that we are moving in the right direction. We can’t always play well and when we don’t, particularly away, we can still get a result.
As for Reading on Saturday, I’d like us to bring in Barry for Brunt, Hoolahan for Rodriguez and Phillips (Burke or Edwards if Phillips isn’t fit) for Mears and switch to 4231. Reading play 4231 with pace so I don’t trust us playing 3 centre backs and 2 wing-backs against that.
