I share your disappointment Beefy but we are only 9 matches in. As the season progresses, I’m sure we will see more of Harper, Field, Leko and Burke especially when playing 3 matches in a week becomes a very regular occurrence.

For now I’m just happy that we have some good home form going. Away still needs work especially with regards to the formation (I still think we should go to a back four away from home. A 4411 with Rodriguez playing off Gayle for example) but I’m sure that the away performances and defence will improve.

Good job Darren, staff and players. Keep ironing out the creases and keep this momentum going into the Winter schedule.

Yeah good going but the only thing i'm disappointed about is well i'm not sure what Field, Leko, Harper and Burke are thinking right now,
Burke not even on the bench and I would like to see Field start now, Today would have been a perfect time for him to play .

Apart from Field they all played on thu night against Reading U23 game. So unlikely to be selected today. Assume they will be playing against Palace this coming week though?
Chances will come for our youngsters. They will be injuries and suspensions to contend with. They need to claim a place and make DM keep them in the first team.

We managed to grind out a result yesterday against a very stubborn Millwall side. Barnes constantly had three players around him and they got everyone behind the ball so quickly that it made it very difficult for us. My stand out players were Dawson and Gibbs. I too was hoping Field would take the midfield spot but alas it was not to be. In my opinion Brunt's legs have gone and he gives the ball away too often.

I thought their "fans" were a disgrace. The fighting at the end was reminiscent of the bad old days in the 70's and 80's! Hope all Baggies fans got home safely because the Millwall animals were after blood!
