Two of those defeats are to us as well!!! He must be under pressure now, new owners, spent a lot of money and still just a midtable team. Done so far by both Sheffield teams as well!!

DAWSON 7 Looked nervous in moments but came through in the end to play a solid performance nothing he could do about the goal

PUDIL...8Best game since last season he realy stepped up today and got stuck in Thumb up

HECTOR..7Fantastic first game helped make life easier for lees Thumb up

LEES...6Same old for me less of a problem as he was playing out wide for most of the first half , he did have a good 10 minutes in the second but he still doesnt convince me when we play 3 across the back i think we have to move on id like to see him sold at xmas we have better players than him now and football has moved on

BAKER...6Big mistake for the first goal but he didnt let it faze him and pulled his sleaves up and played a better last 30 minutes . the lad is only young hes learning still maybe palmer will help him have a rest for the next game ?

PENNEY...7 What a talent this lad is although he did play well today he seemed to hold back a little at times but still had a fantastic game Thumb up

MINGE...6Had a great first half and then went missing for a while in the second letting Villa take controll still he had one of his better games

JOSS ...9When i saw the lineup i thought we would get mullered for 5 goals it turned out to be his best selection as wednesday manager and possibly one of his best games since we played the scrubbers all that time ago ! problem is with joss is though we are not consistant and he has a knack of giving chances to wankers like fox and all the good work is thrown in the bin Doh

Penney is very good when he gets forward and runs at defenses, he has good ball skills and some pace as well. Maybe he holds back because of his need to defend as well but playing him as a wingback is his best position for me. I thought Lees did ok today, the defense looked solid and I still think we look better with a back 3 as it gives them all a chance to cover any individual mistakes. Hector looks like a leader and he was good today as well.

can we step it up next week when we have yet another chance to go into the top 5 ? everytime we get near we feff it up !! leeds are ther for the taking after todays result lets see how there manager handles the defeat ? hes known as a good starter and bad finisher lets hope hes on the road to ruin !!

we are going to have to play something like today though let them have the ball and hit them on the attack we defended much better today by doing this and we were the sharpest ive seen for a long time at winning 50/50 balls in nomans land !! i think we won about 90% of the tussles today !!

I hope we stick with the 352 formation. It suits us, with Fessi back up front we should be much more aggressive up front.

with the young full backs baker and penney its like night and day when you think wallce boyd and palmer !! although palmer deserves his place as a defender at this moment but im all for keeping this team for saturday maybe with joao instead of fletcher but after that performance today its a hard call ! whatever happens i dont think fessi should be given an easy way back in .. bench saturday and hopefully he will exsplode back onto the scene like he did last season hooper on the becnh aswell could be a massive lift ? yet again though i dont think thats fair either on the likes of preston and kirby who are our future !!
