You've forgotten Kyel Reid entirely Blue. And Southend fans expected Fortune to be our best player ...... Even Weir could try to put himself into the shop window.

It would be very harsh to drop Shaw (and wrong?). Publicly blaming Evans last week suggests to me he'll play. I can't see any point in naming and shaming him if you drop him. Surely you give him a way back if you're a manager with a brain? Otherwise he'd be joining Weir, Barry and Gozie.

Now we've got Smith, and that signing surely has a purpose I'd be playing 4-1-3-2

IF I was making a bet on MA's team I'd bet on Joshua Kayode starting. Why? Well otherwise why would you say something as stupid he'll come on for the last 20 to change the game? So he expects to be losing then? If MA's told everyone exactly what he intends to do days before the game then he's dumber than a dumb bug in the Dumb Bug of the Year contest.

Yes, but you were right about Evans Blue. I really don't understand blaming a lad for a loss of points then leaving him out for the next game. Did he get lines too? Is he now doing double detention? MA has gone DOWN massively in my estimation. Surely you knock him down and build him back up? No?

MA really was intending to put Kayode on when the game needed to change! And he told everyone, including Gateshead days before ....... and gave them the impression he expected the game to need changing! A confidence boost or what? Should have done it around the 15th minute then! HAD to do it at half time. Gateshead only had FOUR players when the club sale went through. The rest upped sticks because they thought the club was going out of business. They only just beat the deadline to prove themselves able to stay in the Vanarama ........ and they thrashed us. MA has had more time, more money and a better legacy!

Step one for this team - send Hollis back to the Forest. Select (IMO) Maguire and Evans regularly so they make a partnership and keep Nelson's experience available when needed.

I watched Torquay on TV! They were only playing Lymington who had a 47 year old in midfield, but Torquay had a 6'3" midfielder called Chris Regis, passing, tackling and seemingly doing box-to-box at a stroll. He can genuinely play. Taking how many teams there are around non-league, how many Chris Regis's must there be out there (who did get 4 U-17 England caps by the way)? And we can't find any of them!!!!!!!!!!! (He's still only 21!)

Yesterday our crowd was just over 1,500 higher than the rest of our division. And that should kind of measure our level of under-achievement too ........
