Lotsa activity in the background with Dembele and his reps talking to Peter Lawwell re his future. Lyons now expressing an interest to take him back to French footie. However, Celtic would be short of one top class CF! The negotiations will be interesting.

I would imagine a chain here with clubs sniffing round Nabil Fekir,as with Memphis Depay although Winger/Striker wont stay there more than eighteen months before a Spanish or Italian club comes in either

Rumour dembele is going to lyon - fee between 15 and 22 million. They want to get a replacement first though.
Celtic sign midfielder youssaf mulumbu on a free. Good player, was at killie last season.

Dembele also having a rant on Twitter and implicitly referring to broken promises by either Lawwell pr Rodgers.

And Celtic offload Dembele tonight in a £20M+ deal with Lyons. What a "big call" with no immediate replacement for Rodgers to use!

Dembele is a proven scorer in the SPL and with only Griffiths with the goals and experience as a Striker its a very strange move
Mulumbu is hopefully no more than a stop gap, not good enough enough for WBA or Norwich but should be good cover at defensive midfield as Brown isnt getting any younger
It does smack of we`ll win the league again anyway but not expecting to put up any fight in Europe

Aye! It's a good deal on paper and agree with TD that Celtic believe they will win the Scot Premiership title anyway with the resources they have.
