I hadn't noticed Cairns was in Fleetwood's team - clean sheet last night worth a mention.
Ched Evans grabbed 2 in an 5-0 amazing win at Scunthorpe, which I hope Joey Barton got a bet on.

I'll add to this later but I can't resist this, RICARDO GERMAN SCORES ALL THREE FOR HENDON at Taunton.
JACOB HAZEL scores three of Frickley's ten against Liversedge in the Cup and gets Man of the Match.
Alex Cairns keeps another clean sheet for Fleetwood at Charlton amidst the fan demonstrations.
Chapman lets one in but Peterborough are two points clear of Sunderland and Portsmouth at the top - not bad for a man we never gave a game!
Duffy scores for Sheff Utd in the Championship.
Sam Byram seems to have replaced Tendayi at Forest - he didn't even make the bench.
Jay O'Shea lasted only 46 minutes for Bury.
Chris O'Grady scored for Oldham and Gardner got booked in their win at Morecambe.
Kristian Dennis was given a start in Notts County's impossible task at Lincoln and played a full game.
Wakefield not in Sheffield's squad and Ofoegbu only on bench for Sheffield FC's 5-1 cup good Hyde-ing.
Boden unused sub for Gateshead ...... like Randall at Crawley.
Peter Hartley scores for Motherwell against Rangers in 3-3 draw.

Saturday Sept 1st

Mark Duffy scores Sheff Utd's second goal in their 4-1 win over Villa.
Jacob Hazel nets yet again but this time in a home defeat for Frickley.
Matty Brown of Halifax is selected in the Team of the Week in the Non-League paper.
Ricky German, starts the move for Hendon's goal in their 0-1 win at Swindon Supermarine. He was subbed during the second half as support to him dried up, but a couple of home fans were still surprised that he was withdrawn, noting, "their big man has been a real handful." Told that a "bigger" man was coming on, they looked at Tyriq Hunte and asked "What do you feed your players on?" (That's from the Hendon website.)
Four Spires featured for Matlock in their 3-1 defeat at Workington - Jack Brownell (out of position?) at full back, Charlie Dawes, Jamie Jackson and young Luke Rawson came on as sub.
Fleetwood v Bradford City sees Ched Evans open the scoring and Eoin Doyle equalise from the spot for the Bantams.
Jordan Bowery nets twice for Crewe at home to struggling Macclesfield and Danny Whitaker.
Dan Jones again falls prey to the early bath when sent off for Notts County at home to Forest Green, a game in which Krystian Dennis got a start but was subbed after 70 minutes.
Craig Clay is on the winning side at the Proact, unfortunately it is for Leyton Orient.
Caolan Lavery is out on loan again, came on as sub for Bury.
Scott Boden nets winner for Gateshead.

If anyone feels like checking out whether Jacob Hazel has enough after his 35 goals last season to be worth a step up to the Vanarama here is your chance before Saturday's game at the Proact.

The BBC will stream the all-Yorkshire FA Cup first qualifying round tie between Maltby Main and Frickley Athletic on Saturday.

Maltby, from the ninth-tier Northern Counties East Premier Division, are playing their third match in this season's competition. They started at the extra preliminary round stage. Eighth-tier Frickley beat Liversedge 10-1 in the last round.

The tie is live on BBC Sport's website and Connected TV from 12:20 BST.

We should bring Brewster back from Chorley and put him in the first team.

Jacob didn't score, he made the winner though. Frickley fans seem to think he is specially effective on quick breaks, once he's clear of the defence they expect him to score. He's very popular. There's a double save on the BBC website from Maltby's keeper they are raving about - not that special in my opinion, I'd have expected to do better on the first effort and I'd have been disappointed not to get the second .......... or is my memory a better keeper than I was?

Brewster has signed for Witton Albion, up to this week he hadn't made the team yet! So I think we can forget him for a while. He was an unused sub in their 5-0 FA Cup win on Saturday.

If it were up to me I'd take a chance on Rowan Liburd from Guiseley. He's failed elsewhere, but I still think he has it in him to succeed. He had the guts to go through the American college system, won awards there, he's a big lad, difficult to play against, scored on Saturday ....... Guiseley aren't super-rich.

Saturday 8th September

Eoin Doyle scores a peno for Bradford City in another defeat.
Lee Novak nets for Scunthorpe.
Kristian Dennis is subbed again for Notts County in their 5-1 defeat at Exeter City.
Ricardo German nets his 8th goal of the season, gets his picture in the Non-League Paper, was apparently Hendon's danger man throughout according to their website.
Jacob Hazel's Frickley covered by BBC in the FA Cup. He makes a goal in their 2-1 win over Maltby Main.
Lee Rawson is taken off at half-time as Matlock crash again in a game featuring ex-Spires. Charlie Dawes came on as sub near the end, and Halesowen replaced Lee Hughes with Sylvain Ebanks-Blake in the 75th minute.
Charlie Wakefield was involved in making a goal in Sheffield FC's 3-3 exciting draw with table-topping Marske United, but Iffy Ofoegbu remained on the bench.
Delial Brewster is on bench for Witton Albion in their 5-0 FA CUP win, so awaits his debut.
Jake Beesley scores for Bradford PA at Chester in surprise 5-3 defeat.

Thought Brewster was still under contract with us and was on loan at Chorley.

Also noticed since Rai Simons left Chesterfield he hasn't played for anybody.

Can't believe Bradford lost a game 3-2 after leading 2-0 with 6 minutes to go.
