Long season ahead ....... still no recognised RB , still no box to box midfielder, still lacking in attack, two shots on target was it, still not defending set pieces 7 points out of 15, maintain that average and we're looking at around 65 points, what is the safety target? Don't want big Dave to fail ......... where are the signings to hit the ground running ........ we hit the ground, with a large thud, our knees buckled and we sprained our ankles, we have limped along and are trailing in the race, hopefully we won't be lame to long, it's a marathon not a sprint and we're not in danger just yet ....... come on you Baggies.

Most concerning thing for me is when Barnes went off, we looked a very average Championship side, concerning because any problems with the Leicester squad and back Barnes goes.

I can only assume Barnes had some minor niggle, otherwise it would raise concerns with me about DM's tactical prowess. You do not take off your best player on the pitch without a reason. Mind you with DM knowing Pullis so well, he could have been a little star struck and tried to out think Pullis's instead of trying to out play Middlesbrough as a whole.

We should remember that it was only his 12th game in charge of any first team (not counting the youth squads) and have to give him chance to learn the hard way. We so obviously need a couple more players. Good to see Dawson back, especially if we are going to play a back 3, Dawson, Bartley and Hegazi should be a good back line in this division. Something needs to happen with Chadli one way or another, I am at the stage now where I don't care if he goes or stays (we will not miss him, as he never plays anyway) but if he is going to stay, get him on the pitch earning his wages. Though where he fits, I am unsure in the current set up, maybe starting him instead of Brunt with a little tweek might work.

I'm sorry to say its time from one or two of our team to start from the bench, if at all. What do others think of Adarabioyo? Personally I watch him and all I keep thinking is 'why' have Man City renewed his contract, he may be better playing totally as a wing-back, but you would not drop Phillips for him, as a straight RB in my opinion, he is nothing special. Compare him to Barnes and the way he stands out in our squad in his position, surly a Man City starlet should be standing out in the right back position in a similar way, he just does not have the wow factor 'yet', still time though.

I think Adarbaioyo has done ok so far. At Man City he’s been used in his natural centre back role and has been played in a back four. So far here Big Dave has used him out of position at right back and then on the right side of a defensive three with a dodgy wing-back not helping him properly.

I think we’ll only see how good he is when he is played at centre back in a proper back four. For me, I’d pick him over Hegazi at the moment, pair him with Bartley and then put Dawson at right back.

Absolutely spot on, Josh - that's how he should be used. But I'll bet the church building, 3 choir boys and a handful of headstones that it will never happen.

If Psychiatrists were free on the NHS we'd all be free from the stupidity of following our Teams by now, Imre.
