Surprise signing to me.

Thirty, played for almost everyone.

Loads of England Age Group caps.

Doesn't score heaps of goals.

I think we need players. I wasn't expecting a winger. Would rather have had a flying young forward like Whitehawk's Marsh-Brown, but if he'll do for MA then he'll do for me. Don't know how long it will take us to get him fit. Haven't yet looked at what MA says about him.

We seem to be signing the same king of player except for Carter ,the been there done it type ,probably past their peak but may still have something to offer at this level.I hope this formula works .

Personally I don't like it Pooch and don't think it will work. I think you need a few of that type, but I'm convinced you need a younger nucleus of thrusting, progressive players who want to improve for the experienced guys to work with. Old goalie, two old defenders, two old midfielders, three old forwards ........ Doesn't leave much room for youth and strength.
