So our league season starts with a home game at ER and we must tighten up our defence "big time" - drop Efe who has been an absolute "bomb scare"!?

Yup.

This team has goals in them, but we are going to have to get it sorted at the back especially going into the molde game. Motherwell are a team that have caused us a lot of problems in the past, be great to get off to a good start.

FT and a comfortable 3-0 Hibs win with Efe retained in defence but Kamberi and McGregor given a rest and McLaren now on the subs' bench. Hibs understandably "taking their foot off the gas" in the 2nd half but "toying" with the "steelmen" on occasions and attaining a bonus "clean sheet". John McGinn immense and we are gonna miss him when he leaves!

McGinn had another great game for us and it`s becoming a reality that we`re going to lose him. He`ll be missed but a realistic transfer fee will soften the blow, all we can do is wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts at Easter Road.

Good day out. Thought we played well, and put motherwell away easily enough. We dropped out the game a bit last quarter, but we had a tough 90 midweek as well so no real surprises.

I'm really pleased with young shaw's progress and think he will net his share of goals in the league this season, and porteous deffo has the tools to be a good defender for us.

I love SJM,and think he has been an amazing player for us, but i think he might end up staying at hibs and signing on a free for celtic in january unless an EPL side come in for him.

Aye! Shaw and Porteous definitely worth a mention as well! Both look like they can progress further and I like Ryan's attitude and authority esp in defence.
