Strong rumours on the other board of an imminent takeover.
Don't know a deal about the named individuals but if it rids us of the big joker Ashley/Frank "Its the way I tell em" Carson is it a bad thing?

If the rumours are to be believed I don't think any of them have much money unless they are the front for richer backers.
The timing of it seems very strange ,didn't DA say he wanted to get us back into the league so the value would go back up and then sell us ,?.Everything seemed to be ticking along nicely with MA then this happens .I hope it doesn't upset the applecart .

As everything about us seems odd, I don't think I'd have a chance of making sense of a take-over.
If DA says he wants to get us back in the EFL to raise the potential price .......... then on all known form the absolute opposite will happen.
To be sold at this point and to possibly lose any vestiges of organisation we are holding onto would be disORIENTating. We'd lose MA, we've already lost Mr Dunford, would a vacuum be better than Frank Carson and Dave Allen? Would new people have the ability to move quickly? Are they properly financed? When would it go through? Would we require a brexit-transition? What's happening on the field whilst it's all going on in the previously empty boardroom?
Is NO DEAL better than a BAD DEAL?

I see Bob's Board has gone into meltdown.
This is the rumoured consortium

So lets see, we have maybe consortium of 4 potential buyers, Bobs Board has done its due diligence check and OMG what are we letting ourselves in for.
1 was convicted of a serious driving offence and 1 was a friend of a dodgy doctor, the other 2 so far look clean. We cant have this can we? What the hell will we have to moan about for the rest of the season? Some will even have to fork out full price on a season ticket when Carson goes unless they can come up with some good excuses or lose face big style.
I know lets muddy everything up by starting rumours about Reg Brealey and Brian Dean coming in as manager. That will do nicely.
In the meantime on another planet, less than 600 tickets sold for Tommy Lees testimonial in 2 days. FFS this is going to be embarrassing. There will be more ex players at the game than so called fans and supporters.

According to the Derbyshire Times its now 2k tickets sold. Don't know where this figure is from but doing a quick calculation yesterday with the number of tickets still available subtracted form the ground capacity, I made it about 1200

Matt if 2000 turn up tonight to pay on the gate I will run down Blues road starkers.
We should have had 4k easy for this. It really does astound me that so called fans and supporters cant put their bum on a seat because of some kind of warped agenda.
Making a statement to the owners of the club is one thing but ignoring the testimonial of a loyal player is just childish.
