Livermore talks of there being a lot of love in the club and for the club. I would love to think this were true. If so, could we dare to hope that Gibbs, Livermore and Dawson might stay with us and get us out the mess that they helped to put us in. The alternative, that we lose about 7 or 8 class players would make a quick recovery an unsurmountable task.
Alouion... looking at expressions on Livermore’s face immediately after the final whistle it became very obvious to me that he had a great deal of affection for the club which until that moment, had been hidden.
I suspect there are two factions involved. Those who play for money and those who play for pride, the club and the money. It will be interesting to see who is on which list.

Understand #brentford manager Dean Smith and current caretaker Darren Moore are front runners to take over as #wba manager, and the club could make the appointment towards the end of next week. If Moore ISN’T given the job, club will make it a condition he is kept on as coach.

Dean Smith as Head Coach with his own Assistant and Big Dave as First Team Coach sounds good to me.
Smith’s attacking football and Big Dave’s defensive organisation.

Never sure about the titles Head Coach, Assistant (Coach?) and First Team Coach. Who the hell does what in that set up?
Much simpler when a club had a Manager - full stop (although I can see it's maybe best to free up the top bloke to deal with just coaching) .

Generally speaking:
Head Coach is in charge of everything. He sets up what is going to happen in training, controls training and organises everything (tactics, formations etc) for match days.
His Assistant assists him with that and along with the First Team Coach, they run the training with direction from the Head Coach.
Obviously the above is flexible and not the same for all clubs.

Faria joined the side two years ago after Jose Mourinho was appointed as manager and the two have worked together for more than 17 years.
